PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Fellow Warriors,

Over the next several days, I am going to be doing posts in this area of the forum. I have really been put to the test lately, and have really had to look at myself from several different angles. I had to look at some of my early writings of when I first started in IM and get back to the basics, so to speak.

So today's question is this--What is success?

I am interested in seeing what each of you have to say--I will reply with my answer tomorrow--Remember this part of the forum is about the mind, as it relates to success, power, and self improvement.

For me success in life means doing what I love everyday,being happy, enjoy little things in life and most of all able to follow my dreams.

To put it simply, success is defined by how you perceive your life and the way you live it. For some, achieving a goal is success. For others, regardless of goals, if you are happy on a daily basis, you are successful in life.

I believe success is doing what you love doing to the best of your ability with no regret.

My definition of success is that it is like a journey.

Know what you want, Work out how to get there, Get the necessary tools, Turn on your passion to succeed, Overcome the obstacles, Enjoy the trip.

For me Success is like a continuous journey. Once I achieve a goal, I get to another one, and so on. It's like a team that wins a championship. They will always want another one, depending on how badly they want it again.

Success is not only having a positive frame of mind. That is important but once you have that, you need to lay out a plan that will work for you. You either find someone who has done it before and learn from them or just see what works best for YOU.

Once you do that, success will come to you.

Success is a multitude of things linked together, it is the way you live, not a destination. After all, if success is a destination, what do we do once we get there.
Being successful in only one area of life and not others is not success.

My favorite definition of success come in a Frank Sinatra Song (My Way)

It actually depends with the person, success for someone can be getting rich and famous, achieving your dreams, freedom to do what ever you want and others. But for me success is when doing what i love most being with family and able to provide for our daily needs and better if can provide what they need. But as long as we are all together and able to provide for them is more than enough.

I think that this question, will be different for every member here.

Some of us want $1,000,000.00 in the bank!
Some just want the time to go fishing, forever.
Some want to just be happy.

The Law of Sowing and Reaping:

It says that you will always be compensated for your efforts and for your contribution — whatever it is — however much or however little.

The Law of Compensation also says that you can never be compensated in the long term for more than you put in. Your income today is your compensation for what you have done in the past. If you want to increase your compensation, you must increase the value of your contribution.

It appears like success is what you believe it to be.

For internet marketing I'd assume it would fall between the lines of making money, giving value, gaining freedom and enjoying the journey... depending on who you ask and what their goals are.

It's not about a life dictated by other people's measures, but by your own criteria.

For me, I can say that I have reached success, when I am making enough money, to have the financial freedom and in the same time, I don't have to too much/nothing to keep my financial freedom. Time is our most valuable possession and if you can use your time wisely then you have reached success.

1) Desire
2) Obsession
3) Persistence
4) Commitment
5) Faith
6) Perseverance
7) An extraordinary psychology
8) Mastermind meet-ups

Take away one of those 8 and you can still make money online. Take away 2, Good Luck.

I think success for people could mean different things, for some money, personal goals, materials things, happiness, etc.

I think you achieve success when you achieve something in life that makes you happy or make you realize you are in a better position than yesterday.
