Strange to see this topic right now... I just got done filming a testimonial video 15 minutes ago with a coaching client that's been at my house for a week building his business, and we were talking exactly about that.

Doing everything on your own is pretty tough, so it's great to work with others and the reason I do as well.

I had the chance to edit a great video 6 years ago for a client who was interviewing Brad Fallon (Stompernet). He was talking about how he and his wife went from a rinky dink Yahoo store to a 24MM a year business selling wedding favors.

He said the trick was having a partner. He said he's really good at that beginning, coming up with ideas, SEO, new concepts and all the creative stuff...

But he sucks at the back end follow through and the day to day business dealings.

His wife on the other hand is the polar opposite and handles everything he's not into and that's why they make such a great team.

So yes, get a partner when you can and one other tip... Don't get stuck on $20 problems like I see so many people do. We had a site issue this week and my client automatically went into a mode of trying to figure it out which would have taken hours.

Instead, I went to fiverr and found a guy that fixed the problem for 15 bucks and did a great job. Problem solved... we moved forward.
