To save time, think about the work you have to get done during the next three days...Act as if you only have one day to get it all done.

Doing this will make you stop to think, plan, and delegate. You may not get all done, but you would have gotten more out of your one day than if you had not stopped to plan, think and delegate.

    Really powerful strategy...

The core of this strategy is DEADLINES.

And i would add deadlines that you STICK to..

    Cheers,

The best way I have found to get crazy amounts of work done in a short time is to make a commitment to someone important to deliver. Sometimes if I want to get stuff done I'll ask someone (who is a busy person) to help me with some specific part of my project in a couple of days, even though there's a lot of work to do to get to that particular specific thing. Never have I missed a deadline like this. Sometimes I might work all through the night before the meeting, but I always deliver if someone really expects it from me. So I go out of my way to make people expect things from me

I liked these ideas, but they reminded me that I should stop reading this forum, get off my butt and do the next task in front of me. Talk more later!

I believe with proper and realistic goals match with time management, I would say you can achieve your desired deadline probably just before the time. And I agree, putting a deadline or a goal is a great start in really saving a lot of time. Plus I get to have quality time with my family.
