[Part 3] 0 to 1000 F'ree Targetted Visitors In 30 Days

Hey Warriors,

Took me a while to get this one done but here it is... Part 3 of our little free traffic series.

If you missed part 1, check here:

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...step-step.html

If you missed part 2, check here:

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...s-30-days.html

======

So we've done the research, and we've got the content. Our platform is built, now it's time to expand on it and really ramp up this traffic.

So, the first thing you need to do is get ready to use those rewritten articles you've got.

We're going to use those articles for some fundamental and specifically styled article marketing.

The kind of article marketing we're going to do will result in both fast, and long term traffic. I've written about this before, but it's worth repeating again because in my opinion it's the only real way to do article marketing. Here's how we do it.

So you've got your first rewritten article on the keyword "stop snoring". Your goal is to submit this to Ezinearticles.com and link it back to the post which is now on your blog (after step 2) related to "stop snoring".

When you do this, the following happens:

1. You get traffic from people who search ezine articles for stop snoring, and come across your article. That's usually the first traffic your site gets, and for your first couple of weeks, generally the biggest source of traffic to your blog.

2. This article gets ranked in the search engines for "stop snoring" if you're lucky (ala bum marketing) and that brings traffic to your blog/website.

3. The link that you provide back to the post that's on your blog helps THAT POST... YOUR CONTENT to get ranked in the search engines so that when the ezinearticles.com ranking drops off (which it almost inevitably will do without further promotion) the post on your own site... which you WILL continue to promote... will take it's place.

That's how you do article marketing. Sure there's other things you can do to convert more readers to buyers, boost CTR, and get more distribution, but that overall strategy should be incorporated into your article marketing methods regardless of your approach.

Ok so your task then is...

Each day, you need to submit one article to ezinearticles.com linking back to the blog post that went up on your blog that same day. Here's exactly how to perform the ezinearticles.com submission:

1. Your Article Title: Pretty easy. You just put the keyword you're trying to rank for first followed by a tempting sentence also containing the keywords. Example: "Stop Snoring: These Tips Helped A Chronic 30 Year Snorer To Stop Snoring" - or whatever might be a tempting statement based on the product you promote.

2. Abstract. This is two things. It's the description of your article that appears in the search engines and also the description that people see when searching for it in ezinearticles.com. In other words it has to be enticing. I won't get into all the ways to write a good teaser here but try to make it one or two sentences that makes someone who sees it curious or excited about what they'll find inside.

3. Article Body: Paste in the content

4. Author bio: This part's important. You need a couple of things here. You need to establish that you're an expert. You need to give an incentive to click through, AND you need to carefully insert your two links. One link links back to your website to the specific url of the POST page that you made that day, and the other links back just with the URL. You want to vary this each day so your incoming anchor text is as varied as possible. Here's an example of an Author Bio for our stop snoring Author

"Steve Phillips is an online researcher on the subject of how to permanently stop snoring. You can find more insights and groundbreaking research into how people all over the world are stopping snoring at http://yourwebsite.com"

Making sense? Two links, one to the url, one to the post page with the ANCHOR TEXT of the keyword you're trying to rank for... Got it?

So the Stop Snoring rewritten article is now submitted to ezinearticles.com all ready to potentially rank for the term stop snoring as well as linking back to your POST on "stop snoring". I hope I've made that clear.

So now that you know this formula, the next part of your 30 days is to do this every day. Every day a new post appears on your blog, you submit a new article to ezinearticles.com doing the same as above, getting it a quick backlink and exposure. Do it every day for 30 days and that alone will ensure you get a large part of your 1000 visitors for the month (if you actually DO IT for 30 days)

Next...

This part is optional but you can easily scale this up by doing the same thing for another couple of article directories. Goarticles.com and Buzzle.com or Articledashboard.com - You all know about these, so just submit the same article to 3 directories each day. No need for a mass submitter, or submitting to 1000 directories. Those three will give you good results on their own. Plus that's free and submitting articles doesn't take THAT long once they're written.

Alternatively you can outsource that. You'll find people on getafreelancer.com that will submit articles to a directory for 0.50c each - that's an extra $15 over the month... no brainer right?

Stop for a second.

I thought it's worth pausing here to point out just how effective what we've discussed here will actually be if you REALLY DO IT consistently, every day for 30 days.

Let me ask you when was the last time you took a precise set of actions towards a single goal, every day for 30 days? Exactly, and that might be why you're wondering how effective this will really be when it seems so simple. COMPOUNDING is one of the most powerful forces on earth but without consistently doing something for long enough, you'll never see it's benefits.

Try it and you'll see.

Also, remember this.

As you're doing this over the month, your search traffic is going to be increasing. If you picked the right long tail keywords with minimal competition, the combination of your internal links that we discussed in step 2, and the links from your article submissions, as well as having well keyword optimized posts, will be enough to get you ranked for certain long tail terms. AND you'll inevitably get traffic from keywords you didn't research, so that'll help your traffic add up too.

So don't forget that.

Ok so moving on.

We'll be starting to see some visitors to this site now, now it's time to boost it again with more activities that we can do each day. We're working on making a set of actions that can be taken each day, to build that compounding power I'm talking about.

On the next step, we're going to talk about continuing to promote your site, getting some quick boosts, as well as building backlinks and spreading the word about your site.

Great post Andrew. I actually haven't done this before for 30 days straight and consistently. (I'm waiting for a platinum account so I can schedule all of this in one big ol' blast)

Now, I'm just saying this because I know somebody else will: I totally see the wisdom in giving 30 articles on a topic to EZA, but from a purely SEO point of view the links start to loose value after about 10 articles or so.

But, you still get the traffic from EZA itself, and you still get the traffic from the articles which will rank in the search engines. And that is where the wisdom of submitting to the other big articel directories comes in.

    Good stuff! Thanks a lot!

Brawnydt, I believe some marketers use article spinners so it is considered as unique and will still maintain the link quality as well as the traffic.

I am actually having doubts about submitting multiple articles based on the same long-tailed keyword to ezinearticles. It seems that only 1 of the article will take turn to hover on the 1st page of google. If i see one of my article on page 1 google, i won't see the other articles anywhere, not even on page 2-3. Can anyone advise how i can get more than 1 of my article to be positioned on page 1 on google at the same time instead of taking turns?

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for another great post!

Actually I prefer to continue promoting ezinearticles and my site, as all articles on ezinearticles are rewritten, I get double listing on the same keyword, eventually!

For new sites, it takes time to rank well for those keywords while using EZA I can rank for any keywords in 1 week. I think promoting both sites is a good idea. Until my site has enough back links and ranking, I will focus more on promoting my own site.

Don't forget (or underestimate) video marketing! Adding a video per day to the mix will also boost your presence in the SERPs. Google loves video sharing sites. You don't need any fancy graphics, just make a Power Point presentation outlining whatever you put in your blog post/article for the day. Then create a series of JPEGs from that (an option in the Power Point menu) and put the pics in Windows Movie Maker. BOOM! Video!

Hmmmm... I should've made another thread for this to explain it fully... oh well. PM me for details if you need help with this. I do it all the time.

As usual, your help and advice is second to none Andrew mate. I have followed you and your products for some time now. I have a question though which involves submitting my articles to Ezine Articles for example.

My website is about construction as I am a builder from Liverpool, England. I do not sell a product online and only want to promote my building business to get more jobs etc. I have selected all of my keywords which I know people are searching for and should bring me more traffic but the keywords I need to use to get the right targeted traffic all involve using the town or area I come from, for example, 'Good Liverpool Builders' or 'Builders from Liverpool'.

I have to have the word Liverpool in my keywords or I will not get the right targeted traffic to my site. There is no point be rating highly for a general keyword for builders if the customer is based hundreds of miles away. All of my work is for people looking to get building work done in the local area.

Heres' the main problem I have Andrew!!

When I wrote my articles with the keyword 'Good Liverpool Builders', Ezine articles rejected it because they said the title was not fitting to the article! If I just write an article about Good Builders then this is OK, but when I use the town where my business is based, it gets rejected. This is the same for any article I write with the a town in the keyword I want to rank for.

I hope you can see the problem I face here.

How do I get around this or am I facing a losing battle to rank for these keywords. I know I can post the articles to my own website or blog, but what about submitting them to article directories.

      Thank you for any help

This is the stuff that others charge for. Great stuff.

A question, when I submit article #1 to EZA, does it have to be rewritten before sending to the other 2,3 or 4 article directories?

                Trev,

If you submit the first article to Ezinearticles, you can submit the same article to SOME other directories. EZA is the only directory I care about that will check to make sure the article isn't already elsewhere.

It's nice to know there's a Liverpudlian in here. I used to study in LU.

Anyway, I had a similar situation like you and I have managed to get my targeted traffic from ezinearticles and other article directories.

This is how I did it:

Step 1: I would write the article with the keywords approved by the article directories. (In your example: good builders)

Step 2: However in my resource box, I'll include my desired keyword. For your example "<Your Name> has been X years in the construction industry and is one of the Good Liverpool Builders of Merseyside, UK."

Where Your desired keyword 'Good Liverpool Builders' is an anchor text and linked to your website.

I know it's only a keyword per article but it sure does help in getting those targeted potential customers.

It's been a while I did this. At the time, the article directories don't mind. I am not sure if they still do. You need to try it.

      Brawny,

Didn't know you were a WF member - good to see ya

Yeah, people talk about the links diminishing in value, but you have to ask yourself why..

I think the links will lose value if

      1. It's obvious that the majority of your links are from EZA and you have few external links from other places.

      2. The anchor text is always the same = unnatural

Otherwise, I don't see anything inherently problematic with it. I mean, yes the links would have MORE value if they were all from many different places, but I don't believe there's a negative effect or a penalty of some kind to be had using this strategy.

But I'm open to hearing more about what you feel is the reason for a potential penalty - do share

Hey man, I'm everywhere! ...I wish...

Mind Warriors huh? Never actually gone into this part of the forum.

No I don't think you would get a penalty for doing it that way either. There's nothing to bad about posting on EZA. At least I hope not...

I have always been taught, though admittedly I haven't ever tested it fully myself, about the diminishing value of links. But your strategy shouldn't incur any sort of G slap or penalty at all. And the potential benefits from EZA's authority alone make up for a little lower value link, if it even happens.

Thanks for the hard work! I'm totally saving these to help others, you say it much better than I could.

Andrew thanks for the post. I have read your three part course, and I know that I need to read them again and write down an action plan by choosing what I can do from the posts. I have a question regarding the two articles; one at my site and the re-written one to EZA which should link back to the article/post at my site.

This means that I am linking from one article (at the article directory) to another (at my site) that have exactly the same information. My problem here is that what added value the reader would have. I totally understand the SEO value but my concern is the customer experience who need to be enticed to visit, click and order. For a customer to do that he/she need to see value in content. If a visitor sees that I took him/her from one place of content through a link to another content which is exactly the same and it does not add value, then the visitor will be disappointed.

Now my problem lies with the solution. The solution is very time consuming. The ideal thing would be to link back to a post at my site with the same keyword but with more information than that provided in the directory.

Now although I seem to be asking a question and answering it myself, but I am actually hoping for a better answer from you than the answer that I came up with which would satisfy my concern for visitor experience and at the same time not time consuming. Am I asking for a lot!!

Well, you're kind of right. What I find fallible with your argument is the idea that it takes a lot of work. It's actually very simple. After you write the two nearly identical articles, simply add a solution to the one you place on your site. The solution should just be a paragraph (maybe two) about where the prospect can find a remedy to the problem he/she is having.

Take for example an article about male pattern baldness. If I'm selling a cream that somehow allows a man's hair to grow back, I'd have my Ezine article describe what causes baldness, talk about why some remedies don't work, and in the resource box tell them where to find information about what does work with a link to the post on my site. My site's article would deal with the specifics and give step-by-step instructions on how to completely resolve the situation. This is just a basic overview of my own methods. There are a few techniques that work. And I encourage you to look into them further.

      Best of luck!
