A Surprising Way to Attract Prospects
If you think about most sales processes and models, you see that many follow a domination/submission model (not in sexual terms, of course). One person says "take action" and the other says, "okay" because he/she has been guided to respond that way. But that model automatically creates resistance because it is all about one person overcoming another person's resistance to the process - not necessarily to the product, but to the process. Most people don't like others dominating them, even gently with awesome sales copy or subtly with beautiful images of "what might be."
Being in the Energy Zone means thinking about your business as a way to co-create something positive with your prospects: a win-win scenario, for the highest good of all.Being in the Energy Zone means creating a state of Flow where you direct your energies to creating a win-win for everyone. It's a playful, happy, curious, passionate, focused flow of positive energy and positive results that come from a desire that the fruits of your labors benefit others. That means you do not talk about how great your product is. Instead, you focus on how your prospect will benefit from it. But it goes deeper.
How do you get in the Zone?
During meditation, energetically connect with your prospects. They want to improve their lives and you want to help them do it - right? If you're in IM just for what it can do for YOU, then you can't have the sort of connection with your prospects that co-creates win-win wealth for both of you. People pick up on that... and run.
Whether you believe in the power of your personal energy or not, it works. Just think about how certain people have a strong off-putting vibe while others easily attract a huge following.
So apply the ancient technique of meditation to energetically connect with your prospects. A short meditation on genuinely wanting to help people will do wonders for your business and your life.
Spend 15-30 minutes a day focused on radiating good energy: loving, positive, helpful, compassionate and kind. This exercise will put you in a state of desiring to do the best you can for others. The reward you get in return (your own wealth) is not your focus, it's an awesome, happy side-effect. Even if you're skeptical, try this. What have you got to lose?
Instead of focusing so much on guiding your prospects to a sale, create the environment where they desire collaboration with you, where they are attracted to your energy. This is co-creation of a situation that benefits both of you. It's the perfect win-win.
Think of yourself and each of your prospects as part of a greater whole; your intent is to work together in harmony, just as individual cells work perfectly together in your body to create and maintain health. Each cell supports the others. It's the same dynamic between you and your prospects: essentially, you want to bring yourself into collaborative agreement - a.k.a. the same vibe - as your prospects, to mutually support each other.
Spend some time every day meditating and visualizing how you can best help your prospects. Take your own desires out of the picture. Focus on them; focus on helping them succeed. Feel it, viscerally, by meditating and sending powerful positive energy outward from your core; genuinely and lovingly. Try it for a month and see what impact this has on your business!
