Anyone have a crazy hard time finding their why? I still struggle with this daily.

I really think mine comes down to time freedom. They say when your why is strong enough the rest takes care of itself.

What are your experiences with your why as the fuel to your fire? What is your why?

Freedom, especially in this modern economic climate. It's not just about striving for financial freedom, but it's also the value of the skill-set. With both the private and public sectors slashing jobs, benefits, pensions and whatever else, some self-reliance is more important than ever.

Case in point: a friend of mine had been laid off and, thanks to her husband, left laden with debt. She knew I dabbled in IM, and asked how she could make some money online. I started her off with freelance article writing and she crushed it. Now she's back in the corporate sector, but should she be hard-up again she'll know what to do.

I guess I'm showing my age but what is your "why"? Do you mean purpose or is it something more?

My why boils down to freedom. Freedom from a boss. Freedom from reliance on the state. Freedom from financial worries and constraints. Freedom to do more of the things that I want to do. Freedom to be able to help others.
