How Many "Basic Resources" Do You Possess?

I am addressing the most basic of human resources here. Like Air, Water, Food, Shelter, Clothing and the like. But more than that, those resources which are taken for granted as being unlimited when in fact are as limited as any we know. Time for instance is one of the central pillars of our resource pile yet it is so easily traded or outright discarded for a shiny object, and of course is as limited as the expiration date of your life.

Another limitation of resource is Knowledge for another instance. Knowledge is a highly sought after resource that is again limited by Time. One can only obtain "so much" knowledge across Time.

Consumption, believe it or not, is another resource that is limited. You can only eat in so many fine restaurants in your lifetime.

The vital, resilient years are another limited resource according to how one's life is lived. There is a limited window of extraordinary health, vigor and vitality that is expressed and then generally departs one's life for a slower pace.

The examples of "basic human resources" are plenty. Please add to the list if others occur to you.

    this is only true if you do not take care of and practice regenerative health practices ..if you abuse and deprive your body of basic needs through your younger vital years .

    if you don't use the energy you have eventually you do not produce as much . if you do not feed your body food that can be digested and absorbed and used by your body to repair and replicate healthy vital cells .each cell built with low quality materials will be less healthy and vital than those before .

    do not listen to the nutritionists ..learn to eat to provide your body with what it needs to be healthy and vital every day. attend to your sleeping envioronment so you are getting the best healthiest sleep you can get ..and learn to move and play and do work activities that move your body .

    if you look at many of the most self actualized through history.

    they almost all walked away from everything they knew self actualized and built their lives from top down..not bottom up

    I'm familiar with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and I surely agree with it. The time with my family and friends is what I've been missing out the most but I've been trying my best to make up the time I lost with them. I'm getting better in managing my work and personal life. I also neglected my health but now I've been running to start my day.
