    it really depends on the fear .. if it is justified caution..that tells you to prepare for ..or fear that has no basis in what you want to do and stops you from doing anything... or causes you to try to prepare for everything .

    feer is not to be conquered ..you just don't feed fear ..

    right now the fear that things in my life may be just like they are now in a few months or 6 month or a year is a big driver right now ..

    the fear 2 years ago about what would happen if i did not start making changes where motivating ..

    all emotion are a tool people make bad choices when one emotion dominates .

    *laughs* I often find that a lack of time is the barrier to my success. XD hahaha

    But yes, fear can be a barrier to success, but it can also help you achieve it. For example, if you're close to maxing out your credit cards and you're afraid of your debt, that is a VERY good fear to have. Or if you're afraid that if you bail on a client, you'll miss out on a new opportunity; that could also be a useful fear.

    Fear both helps us and hinders us; it's simply a matter of how we interpret it, and how we want to deal with it (or perhaps, use it to our advantage).

      Most people are fearful of failure and hence they never undertake a task for the fear of failure. Problem with this mindset is that people miss great opportunities and then regret later. Mark Twain once said, "Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by things you didn't do than by the ones you did do."

    Yupp fear I think is the biggest barrier for success in many peoples lifes.
    And I seriously feel sad and anrgy at the same time when you ask people why they dont go after their dreams and goals.

    And their answer is that they feel safe right now and they have an okay job where they make decent money. But you know that deep inside, they want to achive something else, but fear just blocks them :/.

    Edit: Yeah fear is a big barrier to my success too! But I try to work on that

    Yes, I believe FEAR is the no. 1 barrier to success and the second is not being proactive.

    I've tested it personally that when I am proactive in my life... luck happens to be on my side. so for me proactive=luck. Fear as they say is our own product... should destroy it as soon as it ready for to launch.

    Fear is the barrier to anything.

    Procrastination is also a form of fear. How? You fear making a mistake when you procrastinate. One solution I remind myself is, "Don't over estimate the task and under estimate your abilities."

    Every form of fear is based on your negative experience of the past. Your future is spotless. Thus, you are not your thoughts, your memory, and your past failures. If you fear failing, then you must fail forward.

      Nice! This is my theory on all emotions - they act first as indicators, then motivators. All emotion is good, until you allow it to go beyond those two things, and it drives your decision making process.

      So I guess it's really as simple as this: Emotions that are balanced by logic are healthy and beneficial.

    Fear is a secondary problem to success. Yes, there is a place for healthy fear in order to be responsible. Fear of burning yourself on a hot stove, etc, etc. But that is not the fear being referred to as the problem. What causes fear is far more troublesome than fear itself. We can learn to go for it in spite of the fear. Push through it. but it is our false beliefs that cause fear. This gets directly in the way of learning the skills to be successful. Fear is only a feeling which can be mastered. False beliefs cloud our ability to see reality. That’s the biggest problem.

    So, no, fear is not the barrier to success. It is only a symptom of the barrier to success which are false beliefs that stop us from learning the skills to be successful.

    Yes, it is. It makes people procrastinate and instantly fail. A lot of people don't even know what they fear. They may say failure, but that is nothing to fear. You learn things from failing, and you are one step closer to success.

    Sometimes I think that fear stays in the way of my success. Sometimes I have to fight and convince myself not to give up whenever I feel that I cannot do someting. But I am lucky that I have many friends around me and they encourage me whenever they see me down.

    I think fear is the barrier to many peoples success. They allow it to control them and end up getting stuck doing things they really don't want to be doing. I know there are many times I have to push back the thoughts of fear. Mainly the fear of what if it doesn't work or what will people think of me. I guess those are the biggest ones.

    The best thing to do is just face those fears head on. Don't think about what can happen but just go.

    Real barrier to success is lack of proper planning and setting time to achieve it. Fear is something generated by themselves because not starting earlier to achieve the goal.

    Fear is just a lack of awareness, understanding, and acceptance of every challenge or opportunity in front of you. I support others in my personal management program to understand and accept that we are all successful if we are content with our current results(health,wealth, relationships). The more important question is what level of success do we want to have in our lives.
    To do this you need to invest in yourself to develop the beliefs you seek. It has been stated that "The meaning that something has, is the meaning we give it". So if your mindset is always set to your current state/results, so will your level of success.

    Barrier to success: "You will promote what you think, you will live what you Know, what is it that you know??"

    Fear is a barrier to EVERYONE'S success, whether they choose to acknowledge that or not.

    Only those who have strategies for overcoming the different types of fear that we experience each day, and thus, master fear, truly do not have fear as a barrier to their success.

    Fear is a core part of human nature, and mastering is one the most powerful things you can ever do.

    Fear can be a barrier to success if we are fearing the wrong thing. Fearing failure can stall us. Fearing success can cause us to sabotage ourselves. But fearing the life if I don't succeed inspires me to work harder.

    Yes, I believe fear can be an obstacle, I am a big fan of Brene Brown, she has intensively studied human behaviour for many years, and in her video on Ted Talks she states that the root of most of our fears is that on some level we believe that we are not "enough". The name of the video on Ted Talks is the "power of vulnerability and it is work checking out.

    Often, self. Sometimes they're internal barriers: mindset, sabotaging one's own success, fear, personality, insecurity, etc. Sometimes the barriers are external circumstances: confusion, misunderstanding, someone else landing the job, didn't pass the interview, not as good as the next person, not as aggressive, minor screwup, some unexpected situation arises, not well prepared, etc.

    yes, it is.. can be fear of trying new things, of failure, of succeed, of what people will say if you fail or succeed...
    most of the case it's because the wrong believe system that you have in mind.

    if you believe that : I'm afraid, that if I'm successful and get very rich people will stay away from me because rich people are bad..... if your believe system is: rich = bad, then you won't be rich..

    You have to tweAK your believe system and mind a lil bit... make a lil correction like: some rich people are bad, but some of them are good... It works just the way the most people in the middle and lower class do. It goes baack to the people and their behavior. If they can behave, they're good people regardless of their economy..
