The Science Of Getting Rich

You may or may not have heard of this fantastic book written back in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles called The Science Of Getting Rich. We all deserve to be rich so we can buy and use things needed to further our enjoyment and fulfilment of life as it should be lived to our fullest potential! It is our right to be rich, to the benefit of all humankind!

It does lean to the law of attraction and a mental image of what we want in a scientific way, The Certain Way. Have a read it makes perfect sense and it's free. Enjoy

I have nothing against being rich but I think sometimes focus on being rich so much that they lose site of the more important things in life. I think everyone should have sufficient for their needs(that varies for each person) and then make sure we do not forget the other really important things in life(family, love, happiness, fulfillment, and children to name just a few.Again, I have nothing against being rich but I have heard about many rich people committing suicide(money is important but not the most important things in our lives). Let's be sure we work to have enough, riches, to support the really great things in life.

Yes the 'Science of Getting Rich' is a very good book. No there is absolutely nothing wrong with prosperity if someone wants it.

However, people shouldn't make it an 'Idol'.

The only thing we should Idolize is our Source. Nothing else.

Now back to the get rich topic...If releasing the caps on your income excites you - Go for it!

It's a great book. It takes a much more commonsense approach and stays a bit closer to reality than the newer books pimping the law of attraction.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.

Rebecca Fine is selling The Certain Way site that you reference. There are some good things there still and there is nothing wrong with the Science of Getting Rich. In my experience, more people want to have things or do things than they want to simply have money, so I think it is good to have an idea in mind of what you want to do once you have money.

Yes I have read that book multiple times and I think its is a great book. It is not very long and it makes a lot of sense what he talks about. I like how he says stick with what he is saying and don't get caught up in everything else that is out there. Study that book. Its something I do believe is important. We can get on information overload trying this and trying that instead of actually learning and applying and becoming a master of one technique. There is a lot to be said for this book and I do recommend reading it.

I think it is a great book that explains how getting rich is an exact science, and reveals how anyone who follows the scientific formula can become wealthy.

I think financial independence would be more appropriate. The word "rich" sometimes leaves a bad taste in people's mouths (though I wish I was).

The formula for wealth is simple. Have a goal, write it down, believe you will achieve it... And most importantly, stay focused and work your butt off to achieve it.

Simple in concept. Extremely difficult to apply.

My question might be "Are there any wealthy people out there that credit this book with their success?"

At least, that would be something close to evidence.

Here is a link to a pdf version of it. Looks like a short book but reading that style of writing is painful for me so I only skimmed it before linking here.

Haha, I remember trying to memorise that paragraph years ago. It is a difficult book to read (and the gender bias is amusing) for sure. It's a book which a mentor of mine (years ago) told me I must understand if I was to shoot past mediocrity.

There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

A thought, in this substance, Produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.

Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.
I almost had it for a while but gave up and moved on in the end. It was too heavy a read for me on several occasions but I still have it.

I remember reading it several years ago and something positive I took from the book is that successful/wealthy people don't compete, they create.
