What Would You Be Doing?

Hey guys,

Spending a lot of time on WF lately and it's interesting to see so many people who have so much knowledge on tons of different ways to make money online. But it's also gotten me thinking that these aren't just internet marketers or affiliates but a lot of these people have a story. So hopefully this isn't in the wrong section (couldn't really find somewhere else to put it) but, what would you guys be doing if you weren't doing IM or any type of online income?

Obviously, only share as much as you want to but I'm just curious... what kind of jobs have you guys replaced with your online businesses?

i am not in business yet . and the business i am going to start is a real world business .

and more a lifestyle business with multiple possible ways to earn money .

but to have a successful and thriving real world business . it is very important to build a vibrant online presence that let people interested know you are there to go to .

a place for feedback.. and a place for people to share information in the area you are in ..a you tube channel .. facebook page .. forum /blog

and a clue of how to find ways to make sure they are effective and help your business

I am currently a practicing chiropractor. I enjoy helping people with natural health care.My goal is to have more free time to do some of the things that are important to me.My plans are to continue to do chiropractic part time and spend most of my time on IM.

Interesting question, OP. If I were not attempting to pursue a significant online income, I might be working in the social services sector, as an activist, as a researcher or as a writer, instead.

    Thanks for the input guys!

Ya know it's just interesting there's so many people on here and we all want to pursue IM for one reason or another but all we talk about is IM. So it's nice to hear about what kind of things people would be doing / replaced or supplemented with IM.

I love everything I am doing online. All of the people I am meeting. The success stories and wonderful emails I get daily from some of these... dare I say... friends I have made from this community...

But, the bulk of my income is generated through real estate investing. That is something I think I will likely do the rest of my life.

Some people think it is risky... and then but their money in stock options, or IRA or something like that.

But what most dont understand about risky.... Stocks can always go down to ZERO value.

I dont care if the house is burned to the ground... Real estate can NEVER go down to zero. Even the land will always be worth something.

Anyway, there will always be a portion of my assets that are in real estate, regardless of what the market is doing. The money is made when you buy... not when you sale.

    • Sir, I was building kitchen and bath delux wall and base cabinets on an assembly line in a huge plant that produced 2,400 cabinets in each 24 hour period. Then I lost my job in the crash, retired and am now doing IM. Been a trip alright. But it's a good thing.

Even if I were born wealthy with 10 million dollars, I would be still here online. I do IM because I just enjoy it. It's fun!

Props to you sir, I feel the same way. There's just a certain sense of joy in running tests and advertising and seeing the kind of response I can get - and obviously a sense of accomplishment if i can profit.

I suppose I would still be a sales rep for the company I was with for almost 20 years, or I would be dead from my 3rd heart attack.

IM has been a more relaxing way to make a full time living since 2006. My bank account and my health says thanks to the IM business model!
