PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Today I saw the movie Gravity!
I was speechless when asked for review:confused:

Those who have watched it, will agree with me that it is an exceptionally good and a well made movie.

Apart from the sci-fi effect, what I really loved about the movie is the wonderful message it coveys.

It talks about staying hopeful inspite of odd circumstances. 'Never give up' attitude is all that it counts to win any battle.

We assume that life just goes on. But fact remains that adversity can show its ugly face at any point of time.
So one should always be prepared to face challenges.

For so many plus points about the movie, no doubt IMDB has given the movie, much deserving rating of 8.5!

Anyone else has seen the film? Any more inputs??

This is a great recap of the movie Vikram!

I watched the movie and it was breathtaking. Seeing the earth from above is just beyond beautiful. It makes you feel so special and so powerful at the same time.

Another message it conveys is that drifting in space is a metaphor for Sandra Bullock's character drifting through life after the death of her daughter. Her journey back to Earth is her coming to terms with the past and moving on.

If you have still not watched it, I highly recommend it.

It is true that challenges often come our way. The very best way to deal with challenges is to be prepared.One might say, if you don't know what challenges you are going to be facing in the future ,how can you be prepared? I would say to that thought that we all know a bit about life by going to school and working in a society and staying in touch with our families so "prepare,prepare, and prepare" By doing so we will be able to deal with most adversity and challenges that come our way. We will all be thrown a "curve ball" once in awhile in life,but if I understand the game of "baseball" I will have swung enough at fast balls that the curve will not completely fake me out. I think you get the idea.

I've been sold. Get the tickets and show me the way to the theater. I'm gonna take my wife to the movies this weekend after this thread. I really liked the reviews put out by various warriors. Thanks all.
