I'm working hard, but I'm not consistent enough and I keep drifting away from my goals. After reading this article, I've decided to be more consistent!

    A really great article, thanks for the share Vandernath, I am pretty pleased that I am only guilty of a few of those points, so I have got to put those right. I love the way he describes procrastination, I just had to quote it here:

    "Understand the cost of being a procrastinator. It is like a credit card. You have a lot of fun while at it, but wait until you get the bill. Procrastination is deadly".

    After reading this article I have decided to be less of a perfectionist.

    All it takes is taking a step at a time... one small step done every day... for me, that step is first thing I do when I get in the office.

    It is a fun way to look at the reverse side of success. Being real about it (with some humor) certainly helps. Loved that not being responsible was listed as #1. Probably just a fluke it was but love that anyway.

    Fear was listed twice (and referred to many times) and good that it was. Such a huge block for most people. How many times does fear in some form or another destroy even the attempt?

    Wow! Reading those reasons from the negative view was extremely motivating. I've heard all of those reasons before from the view of, if you eliminate these faults you'll be successful. It made my heart beat more urgently hearing that I won't be successful if I am doing them... Great article!!

    Big one there in CONSISTENCY. It's SO0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o important.

    I can't tell you how many times I got a boost and acted on it but then didn't follow it up. Common, I know I can't be alone, I am sure this happened to a TON of people out there. Consistency is so important because then you can really see if what you are doing is actually working or not and then judge from your results.

    I've heard over and over that small wins can equal huge accomplishments. But the only way that you can hit those huge accomplishments is by being consistent to hit those small wins.

    That was a good article, but it was missed the main reason why people don't reach their goals.

    "The pain of their current status in life isn't painful enough!"

    Most people have an "ok" life. They have enough money to eat, sleep comfortably, and buy a few things on sale. Their lives are not spectacular, but it's "ok".

    If their current life status was painful enough, they would take more consistent action to change it for the better.
