I got hit by a car in a hit and run , they never found out who hit me. I lost my job and my state I couldn't get unemployment insurance as the accident was non work related. I did not have much savings. I could barely walk and when I did it was painful, in fact merely being awake was filled with nothing but pain.
I refused to feel sorry for myself and went to town online learning and yes doing. I often tried things that failed. Then however I started to see success by thinking outside of the box.... not being a follower but a leader, instead of making the same digital products as everyone else and marketing the same ways , I devised my own methods. Marginal success at 1st.
Then I looked at blogging. Everyone seemed to be focused on adsense and text link ad's and affiliate marketing. I went another route generating income and I thought SMALL instead of LARGE but.... that became large in and of itself as I then repeated the small many many many times over untill I built up an empire of residual passive income. What was great was it didnt even matter if my blogs had very little traffic I'd still be garrenteed about $3840.00 USD per month before any adsense or any affilate sales of my blogs no matter how much or how little traffic I had. Most these blogs had a zero page rank.... it mattered not.
It all started with finding one thing online and envisioning something the creaters never intended, a loophole if you will ( but nothing dishonest or shady ) I merely decided to look for something others were not doing.
Point is you can do it no matter what in life if going on in your life. It becomes a matter of transending your conditions and aspects of life and transending your state of mind and looking at everything like : How can I make this better , how can I improve.
