Do you dare to transform your life on a conscious basis?
We have:
- books to read
- tasks to do
- people to meet
But we don't have fears to overcome or experiences to transform us.
So I've started a list of things I AM AFRAID OF.
It was a long list. Some went against my beliefs. Other went against my comfort zone. Others were simply dreams I had but never dared to try because of stupid reasons.
And now I look back at my life and I see how every major change came when I've done something daring. How I've rented my first apartment when I was 18 and I was scared in a new city ...
How I've overcome failure ... how I've meet some very important people in my life ... how I've became what I am today.
It was not thanks to Facebook ... or watching TV ...
But rather a few that I would not do on a normal basis. A few things that scared me and I've done them anyway.
So what about you?
How would it be if today, you would create a list of things that could transform you for the better?
Jumping from a plane?
Calling your high-school sweatheart?
Visiting your parents and telling them that you love them?
Giving away all the things you are not using anymore?
Joining a public speaking course?
Ice-skate?
I don't know what will work for you. For me are things including touching a spider, since I have a phobia for this. Staying overnight, alone or with someone else in a tent in the forest. Jumping from a cliff into water. Maybe even buying an iPhone 5S (don't laugh, buying a FitBit and a Kindle changed my habits A LOT).
The things on this list are judged only by their potential to make you a more courageous, confident, powerful person.
So what would be on your list?
