The magnetic ability of thinking

Yes, it's true.. your thoughts are magnetic.

Think of the magnetic force that keeps our planet rotating around the sun, and keeps us from drifting off.

That is the same power is within our minds.

Whatever we want to accomplish, can be attracted by our thoughts, like a magnet.

How exactly does this happen?

Well, think of sledding. When you initially are at the top of the hill, you are stationary, but, when you begin to slide downward, you move. The farther you get down the hill, the faster you go.

This is all possible because of momentum. When you are moving downhill, you continue to move, and move at an accelerated rate.

This is a form of exponential growth. A type of growth where the rate of growth increases.

Our thoughts follow this same formula.

Every thought attracts more thoughts, good and bad.

This is the principal that the metaphysical concept of 'the law of attraction' operates on.

Any thought that a person thinks of attracts more of the same type of thought.

Eventually, these thoughts become powerful enough to stimulate emotion, and the emotions move us to action.

The actions that we take, produce the results that we want, and envisioned inside of our minds.

This is how many people make significant changes in their lives, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

They develop a thought in their mind of change, and draw more thoughts of the same type, stimulating their emotions, and moving them to action.

But, the question that may arise is this, how does a thought develop in the first place?

The answer to that can be summed up into one word, focus.

Whatever we focus on, we form thoughts about.

Due to the magnetic power of our thoughts, we draw more thoughts of a similar nature, eventually stimulating our emotions, and eventually moving us to action.

The actions we take impact our lives, significantly or insignificantly.

Our lives eventually reflect what we initially thought in our minds.

This means that in order to create the lives that we want, we need to focus on the things that will get us to where we want to go.

Once we focus, our thoughts will empower us, through their magnetic power, and aid us in creating the life of our dreams.

You're on the right track my friend.
The mind is starts each thought, and each thought to its actions.

There is no secret. It's more common sense of understanding the complexity of cause and effect.

Thanks for posting! People need to understand this for sure!

forget about the thoughts themselves ...they are not that important..as 90 percent of the thoughts that go through your head in a day are not your own thoughts .. but stuff you have picked up in the past or is getting absorbed now ..from the huge number of media imputs we are bombarded with today ..

thoiught do not become things ..untill they get codified with word phrases that get used over and over either inside you head or verbalized to those around you ..

it is the words you use to express your thoughts that have the magnetic and creative powers ..

and for the most part you have been taught the vocabulary or the word use of a victim ..

over time we have been taught that the best we can have ..is awesome (some awe ) and that it rare .. and we have been taught that awe full is bad when to be full of awe should be the goal of living .

i have not yet mastered this but i have come a long way .

but its the word you use ..and not the thoughts that play the biggest part .

    think about it

Focusing on a task has always been a problem of mine I admit, but I've also done what I could to work on it. Great read.

Admitting to and calmly observing a tendency/personal problem are the first two steps toward overcoming it. Solid mindset.

    Nice post!
I'll add a little to it also..

We have all heard the expression, "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again." But to carry on without thinking about why you failed only leads to more failure.

The ability to create is a God given gift. A gift given to everyone without exception. Thought is the first step to manifesting any creation. Thoughts are energy, they are real. Your thoughts act as magnets and attract other thoughts, people, and circumstances that harmonize with them.

Thoughts operate and adhere to certain universal laws. Without these laws there would be no order; the universe itself would sink into chaos.

The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like. Much of what was once considered metaphysical, esoteric knowledge in the past is now scientific fact. Physics has shown that the principles involved in the Law of Attraction are every bit as valid as those governing the Law of Gravity. So it should come as no surprise that dwelling only on your problems simply attracts more problems.

The idea of attracting success by thinking about it is very appealing. So appealing in fact, people often get the wrong impression that it's easy. Affirmations can be helpful, but mindless affirmations alone have no real value. On the other hand, once an affirmation becomes part of your belief system the subconscious goes to work attracting opportunities. It is not the success itself we attract, but the opportunity to succeed.

Our world is ruled by cause and effect, yet we often fail to see how this rule applies to the thoughts we think. This happens because the results of our thoughts are so far removed from the cause that we fail to see the connection.

The subconscious mind is working tirelessly 24 hours a day. It doesn't analyze, it doesn't judge, it simply accepts and attracts more of what the conscious mind is focused on. Are you attracting problems or solutions? By focusing on desire and showing gratitude for what you already have, the subconscious mind is given the necessary material to provide a constant stream of opportunities. Whether we take advantage of these opportunities or not is another story.

It's impossible to operate outside the law of attraction. Consciously or unconsciously your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, determine if this law works for or against you. Stay focused on your success and reaching your goals. As one success leads to another, success becomes a habit. Problems and obstacles are seen as no more than stepping stones on the road to your ultimate goal.

Your mind is a powerful thing! You can change your life and the lives of others with it! It's very important to keep our minds focused on the positive at all times! Its tough but it will make the difference between being a pleasant person or someone no one likes to be around!

Mind over Body as they say, our Physical limits end somewhere but boundaries of our mind are limitless. It also explains why a person who is physically ok but mentally disturbed can accomplish less as compared to a person who may be physically challenged but has got a very strong mind.

I became obsessed with the thought process because seldom it goes to waste when it comes to influence. You're right but it is where you steer the power of focus once you have it going.

    Focus to influence:
    a) Other people, b) Your Finances

If you know how to focus, you procreate a memorable impact towards your target that sometimes is irresistible to refuse. Focus is another keyword that opens the floodgates of the subconscious mind when taken seriously and... is an on-going process.

Metaphysically speaking focus amplifies the enormity of a cause and even in corporate settings pays back in spades.

In order to increase your focus, give yourself into hypnosis under a guide you trust upon.

When you wake into trance, you are sleeping better and sliding to a world of infinite possibilities with focus alone. Don't discount movies like inception because it can happen to just about everybody; the tremendous feats accomplished in the flick are not attributed just to fiction but real world, cold-hard facts.

Right now you're focused to succeed and your subconscious mind is looking for that missing piece of data that can make all the difference in your daily routine. Another element that's gone missing is "guided imagination".... you tap onto a source and are guided by until your dreams reach solid actualization.

Agreed - Our thoughts are more powerful than we can ever imagine. Our mind is still one of the most unexplored continents in the world. We are literally sitting in our own acres of Diamonds. Thoughts control every aspect of us. What we think...we become.

Our minds/thoughts are like the largest ships ever to be built..Without Guidance...They Accomplish Nothing.

This is a great post. When we send out a frequency (our thoughts) they come right back to us. The more you focus on something, that same frequency will eventually come back to you in physical form.

If we focus on the things that we want and the things that are good and positive, we will eventually see that in our life. Think good, act good, be good, and you will have good in your life.

    Fly high with your success,

I believe that we are all just forces of energy within the universe. And if you focus on good energy and good affirmations you reap in that type of energy. If you focus on negativity and constantly reaffirming negative thoughts within yourself you are basically setting yourself up for failure. If you connect yourself with other good sources of energy it will ultimately bring you up. What type of energy you want in your life depends on you.

Nicely explained post of how focus creates thoughts which stimulate emotions which inspire actions which can lead to results - good or bad. So constantly focusing on the things you want is important. But many people do the opposite. They focus on the things they want to avoid. They keep focusing more on the problems.

I think that all of us focus on both the positive and negative things - the things we want and the problems we are afraid of. The trick is to spend more time each day focusing on the positive things. If you can make yourself focus at least 70% of the time on the positive things, then you might experience a totally different life as opposed to those people who spend 70% or more time focusing on negative things or problems. Remember we might not be able to completely stop focusing or thinking of negative things or problems. What we should do is try to focus more on positive things.

By the way, I want to suggest an excellent self-development and goal-acheivement program that I think is the best among the dozens of such programs. It is called Cybernetic Transposition (CBT). I am in no way affiliated to it but I find the program impressive. You can search for it in Google or search for Stuart Lichtman, who is the founder of the program. Again, I don't have any affiliations with the program, just wanted to point out a good resource related to the theme of this thread.
