Fact is, we tend to overthink. There are so many ways to find a niche, So many ways to get content, numerous ways to drive traffic, multiple techniques to improve conversion rates. There is no one size fits all solution to our problems, since the Internet Marketing Industry is ever changing.

No matter what you do. No matter which challenge you face. There are 5 core skills/ 5 fundamentals you need to succeed.

5 Fundamentals Of Success:

1.Unbreakable MUST. You must have the DRIVE to succeed

2. The ability to make fast decisions. It's business!

3. See the big picture. Don't just think short term by focussing on sales, sales pages, squeeze pages and all that. Think long term. Think about your reputation and plan ahead.

4. Sticktuitiveness. A powerful skill and the ability to look past the dip. Getting excited about something is easy. But did you know, that this mental state of mind only lasts for 7 days? It's been proven that after 7 days, people are starting to get less excited and are facing their first struggles. It's in this phase people give up. See behind the dip.

5. Hang out with people that you trust and are successful. Watch them. Get to know them . Learn from them.Join mastermind groups. Join facebook groups.

Use these core skills like a stick of dynamite to blow up roadblocks. To keep moving forward towords your goal.To network. To learn.

Redfine your definition of failure. You've failed once you quit. Otherwise the results may be different from your expectations, but you haven't failed.

And Remember this: No one can guarantee you success. They are not the ones that are doing the work for you. It's you! It's Your drive to succeed. It's your stick of dynamite!

    Totally agree with these points, but would add that passion for a particular subject is definitely proportional to the drive you have for a subject and that if you are passionate about something the '7 day honeymoon feeling' mentioned can be seriously extended.

    Great post. These are definitely key elements to success.

    I would like to add two points:

    1.) Reinvest in yourself: Hoarding money isn't going to get you far in business. Reinvest your profits in growing your business. The best investment you can make is in yourself.

    2.) Build a plan: Many people fail for this reason alone. Failing to plan is planning to fail.

    I like #5 a lot. The company you keep, I have found, is very influential. I've also discovered that misery really does love company. Find some motivated, hard working individuals to hang around for awhile. Talk business, ideas, strategy, anything. It's helped me a ton. I have had to cut some ties, but not in a bad way. Every one picks their path eventually.
