I'm putting together some stats on mobile marketing for powerpoint presentations and sales pitches in general.

This one I thought was pretty eyeopening...
40% of all mobile searches coming to Google are local
that's from the Mobile Ads blog via Mobile Marketing Watch

Pretty cool!

Where does it say 40%? In the mobile ads blog all it says about forty percent is: "Roy’s Restaurants’ efforts with this format led to a 40 percent increase in call volume—and lots more full tables!"

From the Mobile Marketing Watch link:

According to the company, 40% of all mobile searches coming to Google are local in nature at this point, which continues to trend upward.

That's great news for the mobile marketing strategy. And when they add new AdWords to take into account the people's location then mobile marketing is flourishing.
