Hey everyone, I am looking for an alternative for WP Touch Pro. The main reason is because it is pricey... Looking at $200 for the developer package. If you guys have any suggestions for another plugin which is similar or possibly better, please let me know... Thanks in advance |

I've been working with WordPress for a while now. Unfortunately there is little options when it comes to rendering a different display for mobile viewers. What I would do is set up a subdomain (like mobile.yourdomain.com) and place a mobile-friendly wordpress theme there. Customize the theme to your liking. Then in a few lines of PHP code you can redirect people to the mobile site depending on screen resolution, device, etc. |

I use WP-Mobile-Detector, which works OK. But only on some sites - I think the need for a mobile version of your site is lessening all the time as tablets grow in popularity. Cheers, Martin. |

I have been looking at wpmobilepro.com for creating mobile sites. It may be what you are looking for. It can create simple sites really quickly that look good. Thanks Jason |

Check out this review of Best WordPress Mobile Plugins, it's a great overview of all the options you have on the market.
