The WF Needs To Do Something Like This

I went over to KVR Audio to inquire about how to get a developer account. Since there was no sub forum dedicated to these questions, I went to the sub forum that's listed as "Everything else goes here" or something like that.

I professionally went about inquiring and my post wouldn't post.

Why?

Something in it set off their spam filter. Didn't even tell me what words they were. Just said "Sorry, no can post this."

Finally, I just sent an email to the site owner because I didn't know what else to do.

If we did this same thing at the WF (I am sure it has to be possible because I saw it done) we wouldn't have spam AND we wouldn't have to deal with a lot of the crappy posts that we have to put up with either.

Just a thought on how to clean this place up a little.

I think they need to be careful about "trigger" points on something like that. We talk about a lot of stuff down here that might set off an auto filter that just gets rid of garbage that's not spam. I think it wouldn't do the owner of this site much good if they risk making it too hard for us to post our miscellaneous chatter down here. It could completely clear the OT.
