A question about Netflix

As Netflix is officially launching in Australia next year, I have a question for users of this service elsewhere.

Can the shows and movies be downloaded or are they only available via streaming?

    Think it is only streaming as I've been a member for a while but it has a list of your recently watched shows and recommendations for movies based on that. Awesome service though & I watch it daily

    I suspect it would be fairly easy to find something that would capture the streams, if you wanted to.

      No doubt. It's the same sort of thing as Netflix not being available to Australians yet, however they apparently have over 11,000 customers here already.
