At least if you have a telescope you can look at heavenly bodies and no home means no roof to block your view. Great idea!

Gym would be better. But fly fishing sounds mighty nice as well.

My New Year's Resolution is to lose weight, as I sit here thinking about the delicious peanut butter fudge I made last night, and the frappuccino in the fridge calling my name.

Thanks

Mine's the same one I make every year - I'm not going to drink any more.

Or any less, either...

I think I already stated in another thread that I have no resolutions for the coming year because I'm already doing as much as I can. I have big lists of things that are important to get done, so I'm not adding anything else just because it's a New Year's tradition.

I do honor New Year's traditions and we will be having roast pork and sauerkraut among other goodies for dinner. Maybe even some homemade French bread if I get enough time to make it.

Thanks

So roast Owl isn't on the menu?

Having a list and checking it twice, blah, blah?

I'm going to settle into this new area and new lifestyle. It's been mild (mid 30's to low 50) since I got here but now we're into winter so I'm going to semi-hibernate and write some stuff and wait for Spring

Tomorrow is home made ham and beans and cornbread. A little cabbage and black-eyed peas for the superstitious. Tradition here is sauerkraut rather than cabbage - but none of us likes sauerkraut.

My New Years resolutions are the usual. I just copy/paste from a 1927 list that I accidentally found online when I was looking distributor of cumquats. It was kind of dated and didn't apply to the modern world or my life but I liked it, so good enough.

But, seriously, my New Years resolution is to do more to acknowledge my friends and show my appreciation to them.

Thanks
