From 6-26, I KNOW I have heard it before, but I just can't place it. ALSO, I think a couple notes were a little off. Has someone tried amazon fire, or Apple iPhone to identify it? I figured by now that SOMEBODY would identify it!

BTW I might be wrong here, but I think it was relatively popular in the 1960s and or 1970s.

Try the section I referred to. Like I said, it WAS changed! As for being elevator music, YEAH, it HAS been USED as elevator music, but it is an actual song, like MOST elevator music.

HECK! I once FLIPPED when I heard a friend of mine play "Ah vous dirai-je, Maman"! I saw the music, and KNEW he wasn't kidding.

        LISTEN to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyhxeo6zLAM#t=99

If you try to play that into one of those apps, it may not identify the tune as the one perhaps EVERY american knows! I started it later, because it starts out with the familiar part. A few seconds in, it repeats with the classical music style. I never knew before that day that this seemingly simple song was part of a much larger piece written by Mozart. Most Americans simply know it as "Twinkle twinkle little star".

I'm almost positive I have that tucked away somewhere, but it isn't in my mp3 library. I still have a lot of music on cassette that I recorded in the nineties from college and smooth jazz stations and such, but wouldn't know where to begin looking through that mess.

In my head, I keep coming back to Jan Hammer from the eighties or nineties, but not something from the Miami Vice Complete Collection soundtrack.
