Make a good post in your site and then Digg it ! When you digg it,the post will get on Digg.com and then you can make digg exchange on YOUDIGG.ME. That's my way and is working like a charm. What do you use?

I don't concentrate with digg only.. I also use slashdot.. You should also consider other top bookmarking sites such as 2collab, blinklist, and backfilp.. I get good traffic because of these sites..

    Hi,

A good thing is to have some kind of
traffic strategy with your site for SEO
purposes. This is more of a long term strategy
but it´s proven to work and make you targeted
traffic for free for a very long time.

Here are a couple of things to think about:

    Keywords to target
    Focused content on website
Creating linkjuice to main "money pages"
    Internal and external linking sources

    Keywords:

You can use the Google keyword tool
    to find keywords you like.

Look for keywords that make sense in your niche
and search for them in Google using "quotes"
to see how many competing pages you have.

Use the Google keyword tool to decide the
    aproximate traffic level on different
keywords, also use the CPC (cost per click)
feature to see if your competitors pay for traffic
in Adwords. This is a sign of a commercially viable
    market.

Choose 5 keywords and target them with
    content on your website.

    Focused content on site:

Main keyword as URL or first page content.
Write about 800 words of really good content.
Target your main keyword in the headline
    H1 and H2 tags.

When you continue writing content make
one or two internal links to your main article (main keyword),
creating link juice to this page, meaning Google prioratize this
    page.

If you also add external links from relevant sources
with your main keyword as anchor text you will also create
external link value to your main page (main keyword).

    Use places like Squidoo.com, hubpages.com, quizilla.com
to create external content with links to your main keyword.

Bookmark everything you do on your own site and on external
    sites as well.

Use the sources mentioned above like digg.com but also add:

    delicious.com
    propeller.com
    stumbleupon.com

and many more, just do a Google search on
social bookmarking and you´ll find a LOT of
sites you can use, this takes time though, but
try to bookmark all of your content on at least
a couple of social bookmarking sites.

You can use a service called mturk.com
and let them do the social bookmarking for you, or
create thumbs up for you on stumbleupon.

Making relevant forum posts on relevant forums
for your niche is also a good traffic strategy.

Find relevant blogposts and make comments,
find relevant videos on youtube and other video
    sites and comment.

Create your own videos, no longer than 3 minutes with
some good content for your niche and post them
    using traffic geyser.

I´ve got more of this but I think I should end this
    pretty long post :-)

    Have a great day

    Andreas

I would use a large variety of social bookmarking sites. Those links add up and can all bring traffic over time. I would not just focus with one. This will also help when the move from dofollow to nofollow.

I totally agree. Definitely use more than just a single social bookmarking site. Sure, one site may work, but several will do wonders!
