O.K. so I'm well know for not paying attention.
I just realized that Dave Patterson is the Governor of New York.
So how did a redneck from Alabama become NY's current Gov?

    Dave Patterson was actually born in Brooklyn, NY. When Spitzer resigned after a prostitution scandal, it seems New Yorkers wanted a blind governor to reduce all those distractions that come with the job.

      Paul I live in NY.
      So far he seems to be one of the better governor's we've had in a long time.
