Yep, l don't think that anyone else here is taking this seriously, l mean how could anyone have a 3 course, meal. with the prospect of being woken up and shot?

I would try to eat some of it and be throwing up in no time at all.

A $15,000 dollar cocktail, would be my limit and the bottle of sleeping pills.

They could send the optional diamond at the bottom of the drink to my relatives, etc. Or keep at as a bribe and get me out of there!

Wow Kurt, tough choices indeed but after thinking about it, I'll have to go with...

- Short Ribs

- Salmon: (in cake form or broiled with lemon pepper seasoning)

- Garlic Mashed Potatoes smothered in Short Rib Gravy

- Wild Rice

- Green Beans

- Sweet Ice Tea

For dessert...

- Warm Sweet Potato Pie covered in Vanilla Ice Cream

- 12 Oz Of Creme Brulee

My Snack...

- Hot Pastrami & Cheese On ? with Brown Mustard

Thanks

Um, it's called a "last dinner" not a "last smorgasbord", lol!

As for me, as long as there's plenty of high quality chocolate - and maybe some deep dish pepperoni pizza (although lasagna sounds tempting) - I'd be happy (well, as happy as anyone who's about to be wrongfully executed could possibly be!!)

Wow, good question Kurt, definitely something to think about. That's a tough one for me because I like so many different cuisines. So I figure I'll list some of my current favorites as my last meal:

Korean BBQ - specifically Beef Short Ribs also known as Calbe and marinated steak cut thinly known as Bulgolgi along with some spicy pork.

Sushi - Fatty Tuna, Salmon Belly and Yellowtail Belly and a couple of oyster shooters with extra sake.

Afghani dumplings called Mantoo and Ashak (I can't get enough of these bad boys).

And my favorite street tacos from Mexico, Al Pastor style and a Burrita with extra Mexican cheese, home made guacamole, extra grilled onions and lots of carne asada.

For dessert, mango pudding and a slice of Pecan pie.

For additional beverages I would take some shots of my favorite tequila, Don Julio 1942 and a sip of my favorite red wine.

The truth is, if I was going to be executed, it would depend on how. Gas chamber? electrocution? I wouldn't eat anything. Why risk throwing up, as your last memory?

But lethal injection? Firing squad? Hanging? Probably a steak, and a cup of coffee.
I wouldn't mind the idea of dying. But throwing up...and choking? Nope.

As we speak I think it is a frenchman on Execution Island claiming to be innocent and will be shot in the coming days, Imagine being asked this same question for real like this person would be ? scary stuff it would be.

The whole execution topic is a very sensitive one here at the moment and guessing in other related countries as well.

Since I'm being wrongly executed, lobster, shrimp, crab, oysters, and clams.

That way I'll go into anaphylactic shock and maybe by the time they revive me they might be having second thoughts or some human rights group would take up my cause.

Mark

PS Then again the anaphylactic shock may kill me and I'd be dead any way. Whatcha gonna do?

Good evening sir, what can I get you?.

Have you any recommendations?

Well sir. it all depends on your method of execution...

For The Chair I recommend the deep fried and sauteed Electric Eel's.

For those to be hanged, may I suggest the twisted rope pasta with the last minute infusion of our signature thick white sauce, a highly pleasurable experience.

Our firing squad customers generally go for the heavily peppered Swiss Cheese platter.

And finally sir, if it's the lethal injection. we don't have a meal for that, most people generally drink a selection of our rather lethal, expertly prepared cocktails. So to coin a phrase sir, if that be your mode of exit, I would ask, ahem, "Whats Your Poison?"

I remember having a similar discussion with a friend awhile back, and apparently there is an actual $ limit on your last meal on death row, but I'm not certain on that. As for what I'd eat, putting a dollar limit aside? Gee...

At the moment I could really go for a crap ton of buffalo wings and beer... and I'd want to have the sauce all over me when they finally take me.

Me? I found out that the MSG in my Chinese hot sauce was giving me hives.

Chicken wings drowning in the hot sauce. In fact, that's how I want to die.

This really happened. Years ago, a couple invited us out for beer & wings. They had the Chinese red hot sauce. I tasted it...an instantly broke out in a sweat.

I told them, "This is the best thing I've ever tasted. If I pass out, just pour the rest of the bottle down my throat. That's how I want to die".

I buy it by the case. Sometimes it's worth the hives.

I read about your experience, somewhat surreal....

Your sitting in the restaurant in your stripey top, eating your hot wings with the Chinese sauce, Droning on to your companions, suddenly you feel drawn to the flower arrangement on the table, You lower your nectar feast on it's aroma. You hear a buzzing sound. Suddenly your vision narrows, you feel like you are bumbling your way through a narrow entrance. Crawling through, you wander down the honeycomb passageways, eventually it opens out into a large chamber. There, sitting on the throne is the old queen Kurt.

Welcome to my world she says, in a heavily German accented, disturbingly deep voice. Beehive yourself while your here and I may give you access to my Honey-Buns.
