Here's a fix for the new chrome bookmarks.

I would have posted this earlier but have been having BIG computer problems for the last week

For those of you on chrome dealing with this nightmare, this will take care of it. If you're on chrome but your bookmarking system hasn't changed, just wait, because it will. Google is rolling it out.

Since April 15th Google closed one thread on the new system and opened another one. Since that time there are 42 pages of irate users and posts (some would make a sailor blush). All I can say is that the moron(s) that thought of this should be fired!

Enough said, I could rant about this all day long...


Go to
chrome://flags/#enhanced-bookmarks-experiment

"enhanced-bookmarks" will be highlighted.

Then select "Disabled"

At the bottom of page click the "Relaunch Now" button


Just be aware that Google says there WILL come a time that this workaround will be disabled, requiring the use of the new format (at which time I will leave, along with a lot of other users).

    Thanks While we are on Chrome fixes, for anyone who has VLC player and Ace player and it's chrome plugins, Chrome has recently blocked it so streaming clips will not work on a lot of sites, this includes torrent streaming.

    The fix is simple: type: chrome://flags into your chrome browser bar, hit enter, look a little way down the list till you see the entry: Enable NPAPI. Click enable link and close and re-open your chrome browser, presto, all working again.
