That the windshield on my motorcycle well fly off and take me with it at 115mph.
I start having that thought around 100mph and so far have only been able to get up to 110

Be careful with that one. My husband was in a serious motorcycle accident. He was going over 150MPH and a lady pulled out in front of him and STOPPED. He should not have lived, but he did. Amazingly, he thinks he should get on a bike again.

I've almost lost my right leg when a car pulled in front of me and my leg was wedged (and then ripped out( between the rear corner panel and bumper of the car, I was doing 35. I got a hi speed wobble at 105 on my Indian and went down with the bike on top of me. I kicked it off and slide on my back (with leathers on) for over 100 yards. Two weeks before I left for Florida a car ran a stop sign and when he saw me stopped, problem was at that time I had the brakes locked and was heading right for the side of his car. I let off the brakes, down shifted and hit the gas while leaning to the right and missed him by less then 2 inches. I was doing 40.

My point being, shit happens no matter what speed you are going.
I'll ride till I die and when I do die I hope it's on my bike.

There are three types of people.
Those that don't own a bike,
        those that do,
        and those that ride.
If your husband is in the last group he'll feel like a part of him is missing if he doesn't get out and ride again.

As I get to be middle age (which creates more wisdom) I really have no fears which is in sharp contrast to the way I used to be. I do not even fear dying. However my only real fear is if I ever had to suffer as my late father did.

So how did you make it to middle age before me?
I understand what you're saying about your father.
My father, mother, and brother all suffered for way to long before they died.

Maybe I meant that I am approaching middle age or I am there. I don't know the rule on that

On the serious side I appreciate your compassion about my father as you have been through it yourself. Its been just over 2 years since he died of altheimers disease and the horror in my mom's face everyday but its kind of funny that it has made me and my faith stronger. I could not possibly know this would be the case unless we went through it. I learned in even the most tragic of circumstances there can be good that comes out of it. Even though my dad was not himself in his latter years he may of taught me more when he was sick then at anytime and thats saying a lot. I apologize if I seem long winded here but its obviously still on my mind as I am sure your father, mother, and brother are on yours.

My brother died from Alzheimer so I know what you went through there.
My father and brother both died in the 80's and my mother in 02, 4 months after my wife died from cancer. Yes all four of them are on my mind every day. Losing someone you love is hard enough, but when they suffer for years or months it is that much harder.
Their deaths have made me stronger though losing my wife threw me into a depression that I've only recently pulled out of.

Losing my wife is what ultimately got me back into motorcycles.
I hadn't rode in a good 25 years and missed it. Losing her when she was so young (she died the day after her 42 birthday) really made me realize how short life is and that you damn well better enjoy every moment you're alive cause you never know when it will end.

              O.K. enough serious stuff.

If you're saying you're middle aged you're saying your life is half over.
I prefer to think it's just starting. Unless I'm doing something crazy (all the time) then I'm an old man and senile:rolleyes:

Yeah, that's the truth. The biggest upset for me will be when it's all over for me to find out there isn't one freaking hilarious punchline at the end.

Surprisingly, no... the mould on the cheese cushions the impact of your teeth on the spiders as you bite down, eliminating most of the cruchiness of the spiders' body. The squeeling of the little spider as you tear him to shreds with your gnashers is what scares me though.

Joking aside, my husband and I are living in a round the clock panic attack nightmare. I am afraid we will have criminal records for something we did not, nor would not do. I'm afraid my husband may be sent to jail. I'm afraid we will loose everything because of evil, hateful people and stupid government people.

I'm afraid my husband's beloved Arabian racehorse bloodline will be lost forever.

We met with an attorney yesterday who is pretty sure he can resolve this quickly as procedures weren't followed, our rights were denied and, most importantly what they accuse us of doesn't make sense. Neglect valuable equine but take care of cows? But he wants $10K upfront and we don't have it. The site in my sig will explain the importance of our horse's bloodline significance.

A fellow warrior is helping me with the site in the sig...any and all added help is always appreciated.

Water and Air. I am really afraid from these two. Sometime I see that world is ending and everyone is killing each other to win the race of life. Full Crowded train, streets with weapons ...

.and isn't scraping the pegs on the pavement a big part of what its all about? I love sparks but not so much to trade them for a casket. I like to ride waaay too much.
I'm not a big fan of my floorboards scraping, that's why I mounted my gremlin bell below the board. Sort of an early warning system.
I don't always ride fast, just so ya all know. Every now and then on a long straight road with no traffic. Years ago I had a Kawasaki 750 K model.
That sucker was real fast. Got stopped once in January going 125. Anyways if I wanted to go over 100 a lot I would of got a crotch rocket, but I like to cruise so I got a cruiser that really likes to cruise around 85

I kinda share that one a little. Not the buildings part, but when I hear a plane (and there's an airport 10 miles from me) I check it out to make sure it's going in the right direction.
I heard one last night while I was in bed and it flew over my house. I paid real close attention to the sound it was making.
