I get a 1603 error - anyone know what to do about this one?

Edit: Never mind. I got it. LOL - believe that? Hey - as long as I have a thread up -- is this MS 7 - please tell me I'm not trying to deal with the one they called Vista? Holy cow, I can't run programs that run right, please tell me this isn't Vista.

I would create a new folder, download it to that folder, then open it and click on the install Icon from there. See what you get. Windows always has a default folder to download stuff too. "downloads" (you shuld redirect to your new folder, on all browsers you have the ability to do this from their settings but explorer is the easiest) for some reason it may be encrypted? Hope you have a good virus and malware killer, should not be.

A new machine would not have vista on it, only 7 or 8, if you have a start button and conventional boot to the desktop then you have 7

Oh yay - that's good. This was so strange I started to worry that MS 7 was Vista.

Anyway - like my edit says - I fixed it. I was just worried that this was one of the things that was always going on with vista.

Funnily enough, just installed it on my windows 8 machine, (no problems) I have street views of my address in the UK and can literally drive around my home town in the UK. cant do it in my US address, only overhead views.

    A quick note:

Google Earth Pro used to be $395 a year, and Google made it free just a little while ago. The Pro version will convert Google Earth "tours" into videos. For anyone that's a little creative and wants to make videos for Youtube, this is a great opportunity.
