Quick firefox question...

I'm using firefox.

Now that it is June 1, I can no longer see the history for April.

Is that April history truly gone forever? Or -- is there some way to look at that April history, still? Some hidden file or something?

Yes? No?

Please advise.

Thanks!

No, April is there, well l deleted my one, (don't need to waste the memory).

Just click on History, then Show All History, and it should show up!

If not then Google how to change your settings!

    I'm still confused.

That Norwell add-on... does it solve the problem from this point *forward* (only)?
That is, will it from now on, keep track of all my history, and not let my history expire from this point forward?

That's nice, but that doesn't really solve my CURRENT problem.

I need something that can look at the history that has ALREADY happened (ie: April).

Will Norwell do that? If so, HOW (cuz t doesn't look like it's possible)?

If Norwell WON'T do that, are there any other add-ons or something I CAN use to see APRIL'S history on FF.

By the way, if the police dept. wanted to search my FF history, I'm SURE that history is there SOMEWHERE in my computer. right?

So how do I view APRIL'S history on my desktop PF running firefox??

    Anyone know?

Well that's a bummer that it wont find and organize your previous stuff. At least you will be ok from now on.

I was reading that Firefox only goes back so far now in showing it chronologically, your history is still there in the folder but it's jumbled up.

You could try downloading Chrome if not got already and importing everything from Firefox, chrome does show all history in order. Worth a try if your just trying to find something.See if it does it.

My Firefox shows history for many months - because I have it set to do that.

Click on "tools", then "options", then "privacy" tab - you can manage the history there with 'save', 'don't save', or custom settings. Chances are you browser is set to "remember" for 30 days only.

One of our computers here is set to "not save" history - and once it's gone....it's gone...at least on that computer.

I've never had to use an add-on for this - so maybe I'm misunderstanding the problem.
