Several times I have seen it rain in the front of the house but not the back. Today it is raining in half of the back yard only.

Reminds me of a time I was on my bike and it started to rain, pulled into a bar to wait it out. Several hours later it was still raining, decided I had enough and figured I would just get soaked, so I left, two blocks later it was completely dry, never rained there.

    I love it lol

You can be driving up the road and see the rain coming, drive into it, then a minute later be passed the rain storm in bright sunshine again, no water on the ground at all.

Or seeing rainstorms off in the distance. Just a wall of rain from 1 cloud passing by.

Hey guys, that doesn't happen in Florida only.

I grew up on a lake and so many times it only rained over half of it and we encounter the same scenario while driving too. I'm sure it happens in other states as well.

We're trying to feel special here, Terra. Can't have nothin' nice.

I just took some realtime shots of a rain cloud moving over my house but imgur checked out. ;/

Oh my. Well, then - I have a news flash that is going to completely trash the rest of your week.

Out here in the West - we not only have rain on one side of the street only -- we have double rainbows of tremendous brightness and vibrancy that streak the sky and stop right at both sides of the rain so you can get a breathtaking vision of who's getting poured on and who's not.

Too bad that didn't happen when I visited Disney World years ago. It rained everywhere (well, throughout the park and surrounding areas) and all day. Kind of put a damper on our fun...!

When I first started riding in Mississippi in the summer, I looked for rain clouds just so I could follow the cloudburst and cool off. That is, until I actually caught one. I was just like climbing into a very warm shower

Right Steve - Mississippi rain in the summer is like standing in the 100 degree sunshine...only wetter.

I volunteered at the Animal Foundation today and walked dogs in the rain - they didn't care if it was raining so why should I?
