    Nature's numbering system - don't remember where I read that but that's what I think of with this video. ...but then you have a bearded iris that refuses to conform

    repeat-multiply-repeat-multiply....also used in some sorts of meditation or focused learning is it not?

      What's interesting to me, is that some of these designs are the result of evolution (as the most efficient method to distribute blood or water to leaves) ...and some are naturally occurring...as the result of outside physical forces. (like the branching of rivers)

        However they occur, fractal patterns appear at every known level of reality, even in the subatomic quantum realm.
