For the good of us both bless her heart. I hear less noise after I post nowadays. The potentially amusing part is she might even coming running back to the thread claiming its all my fault BF went off on the woman and then do her version of a Suziflame.

Truth is they all want me and as the saying goes "Hell hath no fury ......"

Funny. Not cooling my heels, anywhere. Taking a break to enjoy the lake as much as possible before it starts to cool off and to put as many miles on the Bimmer before I garage it for the winter. Claude's message to me just made me realize that I, too, was wasting a lot of time that I might regret later in life and wish that I had it to live over. Since that's not possible, I'm trying to be more aware of how much time is wasted in idle pursuits. Life is short, then you die.

I in no way consider my comments being referenced as, "going way to far" or "over the top." They were perfectly appropriate and had nothing to do with the fact that the person was a woman. Had a man threw the fact that he was a parent in my face and expecting special treatment because of it, I would have asked 'him' how anyone would have chosen to have a child with such a humorless, churlish individual. I have never lashed out at any woman and I treat everyone the same, regardless of their gender. I'm an equal opportunity offender. Women have a strong desire to be treated as equals in all things. I'm simply treating them that way. Can I be disrespectful? Of course, but no more so than I would be toward any man. I don't judge people by their gender, but by the idiocy of their remarks. If you don't like what I post, put me on ignore. The truth is no one ever does that for long. lol

The message from the mod was the mildest I had ever received for any of my past indiscretions as they view them and only one post was deleted from the thread. I fully stand by everything I said without remorse, regardless of what anyone thinks of me, or my comments. You would think by now that folks would know that as gospel. I just don't care what anyone thinks. I know that fact alone offends many. Sorry. I gave that up decades, ago. It ain't coming back - no way, no how!

While that may offend a few people that have made posts much worse than anything I have done at my worst, they'll just need to suck it up and get on with their lives. I will continue to post in any thread I choose, honestly and with total conviction - regardless of what anyone thinks or how others choose to view me.

I'll trust the mods to be arbiters of good taste, not our school yard cops looking to score points in a desperate attempt at impressing others. When they inform me that I have gone too far, I'll consider their opinion and argue it where I feel it is warranted. Those words have never been used regarding anything I have ever said, and I doubt that they ever will be. When I do step over the line I'm sure I'll get banned and if repeated often enough, perhaps permanently. And my life will be different, how?

I don't come here for love, approval or judgement, or even to be liked - especially from those that are generally despised by others and are well known for their biases, dishonesty, ass-kissing, personal agendas and desperate need for attention. While they do serve as a source of personal amusement, knowing what many others think about them simply reinforces my belief that I am an excellent judge of character. Generally, when I deem you a schmuck, you can take it to the bank.

I hope to catch up with you all after Labor Day. Between now and then, I'm going to wring every bit of enjoyment out of the remainder of the summer.
