This is the Modem World: The day Google died

It is inevitable. Of course it most likely won't happen anytime soon, but it will happen eventually.

    Nice article, but I think we can now stop referring to the Internet as "still young." How many years has it been? At least 20! That's not young. LOL

      It is still young, considering automobiles have been around for 100 years and the internet has been around for only like 20.

      There were giants and fads that came and went before we were born surprisingly. This generation isn't the only one.

        Thanks for the history lesson. In all my 48 years of living, I never, ever, ever noticed a fad. Not in the 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s! And I sincerely thought this generation was the only one that invented anything.



        On the serious side, I have a secret resentment towards millennials, but hey. As you suggested, maybe they'll just be a fad that comes and goes.

            Huh? Why wouldn't you disagree with me? You have a right to do that. Just because I'm older, that doesn't mean I get the last word.

            I argue with my 55 year old neighbor all the time about stuff, and we have a fantastic time doing it. Of course, there's a little Jack Daniels and beer involved, but that just makes it even more fun!
