I've been looking for interim work and about 2 months ago I was awarded a project management course. It's about 4 hours a week, on the phone, and I follow a webinar as well.
Over the last few sessions it's occurred to me how personal development in the corporate world is really interesting.
I also recall I book I read in college called "Zapp! The Lightning of Empowerment: How to Improve Quality, Productivity, and Employee Satisfaction". That really moved me.
So, while I am working on this course, I am wondering if there's a professional organization for promoting excellence in the workplace. Kind of like Dale Carnegie or "What Color Is Your Parachute?" minded group or company that focuses on either interpersonal development or human betterment. Anyone know of such a thing?
