So, lol, I am finding myself getting more value here in the OT forum.

Is this to be the new forum for us longer term members who wish to really have some introspective conversations?

      I'm not knocking it, but at the same time feeling like my mother who has severe dementia and we put her in a home cause none of us under stand her anymore and she has no clue who any of us are anyway.

        I'm very sorry about your mom, Jill. My sympathies honestly go out to you. That happened to my grandmother in her 80's from a stroke, and I know how difficult that can be.

    Some of us are still left here, Jill. Most moved on even out of here awhile back. After a decade of verbal joviality and fisticuffs with the pals here, though - it's hard to leave them behind completely.

      I pop in from time to time but for the most part I now hang out at Gearslutz and KVR Audio, as well as a couple of game forums. These days I play a lot of virtual golf.

      I realized I needed to move on when I was pretty much a train wreck around here. Since being gone I've been a lot happier. I do miss a few of my friends which is why I guess I can never completely say goodbye but most likely the few posts I've made between 10/27 and today will probably be the last ones until well into next year.

      To be honest, I'm surprised the forum is still here.
