Viewing the Forum as a Feed

Nope...All I have ever got is forum. Didn't know what you were talking about until I selected feed...click forum again and right back to what I am used to

Is everyone else getting this?

You must have some personalized settings showing the feed because I'm always seeing only the forum as the default when I login.

I've clicked the feed link at the top of the page after finding this forum thread, personally I like the old forum style better but I also browse the forum from a desktop PC (not mobile). I do not like the Trending (severely flawed) on the Feed being default, that's the main reason I won't use the Feed.

One thing I thought was funny is they added the Marketplace link in the top/right header but it points to the old WSO page, that reads WSOs. That's one heck of an upgrade, changing the anchor-text of one link.

Steve, you have to ask Alaister to include you in the beta. In my case, they included me without asking permission. But not everyone sees the feed if it is still in beta. The difference now is I don't have a fricking choice. Every thread opens as feed and I did nothing to make that happen.

Wow... this stinks. Now that they copied others, at least the stupid social media feed went away! Oh, hey.. hahahhaa.. as I'm typing it's like a.. wait for it... news feed! My text is like some freaking ticker tape! Now I can't see if I have spelled something wrong or anything.. so I'm just gonna say... BLOWS!

I used your word Suzanne! This is so frustrating! Just now, I noticed the reply button, ergo, the smileys are there. The reply button, option, wasn't there a few minutes ago.

I "get" what they're doing. The new stuff is more familiar to newer members. They're, mostly, used to the social media layout of things. I don't have a sig in the game, but I know you do.

I, like Suzanne, didn't ask for this. I was apparently one of the feed bait..I mean beta testers. I don't know how I became fish food, but this isn't the first time.

Well, I hit reply and it just quotes me, lets me post normally, but after I hit the submit button I'm kicked right back into that feed view.

Yes, we do have it, but it just takes me to the WF front page. Each forum page has the listings as usual. It's only when you opened a thread that it went to feed.

It's over now. Forum for me at least has been restored back to the forum style. Thank goodness.
