i need some one to tell me what course or diploma is necessary to develop a 3d game

    There are two lines of thinking.....

    1. The goal is to develop a game you ALREADY have in mind, etc... in a certain "technology". NO one course exists. You will have to learn a capable "technology", and graphics, and WORK at it.

    2. The goal is to develop a game. Do you have the inate talent, and start at #1.

    As for the diploma? I have known people that took C and cobol to get a computer science degree, and could write programs in neither language.

    Too many people feel they can just take an art class, and become an artist. Writing games is about as hard, perhaps harder.

            If you ask a REAL question, you might get a real answer! You might as well ask what vitamin will give you everything you need to avoid food. That IS, after all, basically what you are asking. Michael Ellis kind of touched on the complexity. CDarklock might have an idea, but still missed a point.     I have a BS in computer science... well, I'm 3 classes shy of a MS in computer science, and I can tell you that it isn't a simple task. It really depends on how serious you are and what kind of skills you possess.

    Game design, especially 3D game design, is a very specialized and HIGHLY mathematically intensive skill. This kind of skill requires a solid background in advanced mathematics, computer science and programming. So if you're looking to develop the games people buy, then you need to get into a college Computer Science program that specializes in Game Design. Your local University or Community College should have such a program.
