Hi All,

Over the years here on the Warrior Forum I've met people who's posts have had an impact on me and now they seem to be gone.

Two, right off the top of my head are WiseSpider and Mr. Unconventional. (the father of the never ending thread. )

Are you guys here under new names or?

Does anyone else notice Warriors Missing In Action?

Mr Unconventional is still running some programs - can't remember exactly which ones, so he's not posting but still around the net somewhere. If I can remember what he said he was up to these days, I'll tell him to report in to George ASAP! LOL

I wonder whatever happened to Chris. (Govguides) and AlexR - he posts now and again at TIPS but I haven't seen him here in a coon's age unless he's still passed out in the basement. Tizzy (Chris Drinkwater) seems to be pretty off and on with emphasis on the off, too.

I asked about one I noticed MIA and I was told that he got banned for some reason. I was really surprised because he was one of the nicest persons I had ever met.

      Patrician,
I sent Mike a PM a week or so ago and he responded, so I know he has recently been on the forum, other than that, I can't answer your question.

Yes, I did quickly hear about the sad and untimely passing of our friend
David Castle (CTABUK). At the age of 68, I keep hearing the swish of
the Grim Reapers scythe decimating my friends, colleagues and family,
so have been cranking down my online activities for the last 4/5 years.

I do post and respond in this OT now and again .... but have more
important personal things to do offline in my remaining allotted time.
I suppose my gripe at the present is that a good many posts in the OT
are NOT OFF TOPIC... or that new or interesting. It is getting almost
as boring and repetitious as daytime TV ...aaaargh .

Hi Mike - Well, duh! You are one who made it interesting! See why it is going down hill? We are just the sum total of our parts.

Today is my mother's 86th Bday - I called and she was flying out to play bridge and out to lunch with buddies, where they will give her a cake and then she will come home, change clothes and go out to dinner with another friend - and she says 'that's enough'. Knowing her, she will kick the reaper's butt (verbal assault) if he comes anywhere near her.

We also have a new member in our program who is 90, sharp as a tack, and asks to be excused for a minor typo - (if he only knew)...

So my point is, it aint over 'til it's over and hopefully you have a lot more years left --- it is really pretty soon to be feeling "old" or like you are on your last leg. However true, anyone can go at any age, 'in the twinkling of an eye'. So kick it 'til you can't. Or LIVE 'til you die.

        Whatever...

Hope to see you around here more and thanks for responding to this thread.

Valerie is doing fine - just very very busy. She just had an exchange student come in from Germany and is working her butt to the bone to support herself and kids in this economy, so doesn't get a lot of time to post. If anyone can swing over and buy something from her or give her a quick writing assignment, she'd probably appreciate it greatly. She didn't expect the economy to be kicking her tush when she signed up for an exchange student.
