Posting blog posts on the forums the norm now?

Very curious about this.

I have noticed a ton of "new" members posting basically articles and long blog posts in the forums as thread starters. I always thought these types of posts are suppose to be on your WF blog and not directly in the forums.

Is this allowed now?

Or is this some new traffic generating method being taught to newbies? You know, post 50 or 60 search engine optimized posts and then turn on your signature?

Just curious.

    Haha,

I think they are shill accounts, and if you search some of the titles they aren't even showing on Google anyway.

They really don't add any discussion or interaction to the forum though.

Most of them either go without reply... With a reply like "why don't you just start a blog" ... or a short one liner from a brand new account saying "wow that's cool"

They literally are just articles. No systems or strategy, no evidence that these people know what they're writing about.

It's just like they find and rewrite blog posts from within the IM arena.

    Hello Rob,

It's allowed now. We already have a lengthy active discussion thread on this topic here:
