DMCA notice
I was consolidating several sites, so when one of them had a domain come up for renewal, I didn't bother. I had already moved the content to another site. Unfortunately, for several months I hadn't set the robots.txt properly and it was archived at the Internet Archive.
Somebody scraped it — if you don't know, some people who need lots of backlinks don't want to take the time to build sites and write stuff, so they rip content from expired domains in the Internet Archive — and posted years and years of my custom content on their site.
Anyway, I found the hosting service (they are in Europe), and they won't do anything — just ignored my emails. Any advice before I send a DMCA takedown? Am I missing anything?
