Hello everyone , I am newbie in this filed. This post takes long time after finally written out. Hope get your encouragement and criticism.Cut to the chase.

Affiliate Network is the essential bridge to connect advertisers and Publisher. It can offer advertisers products promotion methods, including advertising management, advertising publishing, data collection and analysis, and help publisher (including online media) with integration of high-quality advertising resources to fullymonetizingtheirtraffic.

In general, affiliate network enables advertisers to find the adaptive traffic resources with targeting audiences" and "fitted downloads" as they need.

For example, you are a C2B E-commerce company, at the top is customers with purchasing needs, at the low is suppliers. Your core function is to purchase the corresponding products from suppliers required by customer. In this case, the customer is equivalent to the advertiser, Affiliate Network is equivalent to C2B E-commerce platform, and the supplier corresponds to Publisher.

However, often there is more than one Affiliate Network with offering various prices and qualities. So, as Publisher, how to evaluate the capability of an Affiliate Network at full scale and then decide whether to "supply" it or not?

Usually, a good Affiliate Network should possess the following advantages: abundant offers resources; core team with several years of experience on Internet and mobile marketing can be forward-looking and professional in Internet field; experienced AM can accurately grasp the market situation; monthly or shorter capital payment to help Publisher secure their capitals; rapid response and processing ability as well as stable and intelligent system to guarantee the smooth operation. The company not possessing the above qualities is definitely not the real excellent Affiliate Network, and will find it difficult to deal with vibrant and changeable mobile Internet market, because of the lack of offer resources, market and industry experience as well as insufficient technique.

Next, I will detailed analyze Affiliate Networks features from the following criteria, including offer resources, professionals skills, payment cycle and essential techniques:

1. Offer Resource: Really abundant offer resources, having R&D products and a large number of straight offers.

2. Professional skills: Leadership shall possessing at least 7 years of experience in Internet industry.

3. Reserve of talents: Enough AM for different markets in different countries, at least 3 years of experience in Affiliate Network;AM shall accurately grasp the market situation in hot areas to promote offer, avoid all kinds of promotion risks; have the ability to analyze the data and offer Publisher reasonable advices.

4. Payment Cycle: Offering weekly capital settlement for publishers with large number and high quality offers, monthly at most.

5. Essential Techniques: Enable very large clicks, the system shall maintain stability with no delay even at billions of clicks per day; Possessing open SDK/API, supporting a variety of docking.

Through the chart above, an Affiliate Network can be regarded as an excellent one on the condition of possessing a large number of offer resources, the core team with at least 7 years of experience in the Internet industry, enough AM to meet the needs of different kinds of markets in different countries, the flexible weekly capital settlement for publishers with large number and high quality offers, and unique techniques in internet field.

In addition, apart from the above criteria, owning a larger ecosystem will be another competitiveadvantage. For example: as for offers, having R&D App and mobile game that gaining long-term and exclusive popularity; about the AD, experienced in Internet advertising industry, familiar with a variety of delivery platform, widespreadproducts offered by theMediaBuyingteam.

To sum up, as a platform to connect advertisers and online media, Affiliate Network need provide advertisers with services like advertising management, advertising publishing, data collection and analysis, and bring the media the value of the traffic. As for evaluating the whether an Affiliate Network is reliable or not? Readers can find the answers from the above criteria including offer resources, professional experience, reserve of AM, payment cycle and the required technique.

I would look at review sites ( people who have used their service )
Ask other people, who are using the different networks. Their experience with them. You can find them, on their network and if they are a power seller or high ranking affiliate marketer. Then, decide. Who will work for you.
