Hello my names Zack,

I've lurked here off and on for a while and just finally had the time to start pursuing/researching some of the different online ventures I've wanted to try. Before I jump in to anything specific (I've been trying to research different options primarily) I figured I may as well ask here first.

I'm curious as to if any of you on here have ever done any interning in exchange for mentoring online or with anyone on the Warrior Forums?

I have my AA in Video & Motion Graphics and am extremely well versed in Photoshop. I'd be interested in seeing if anyone needed any free help just for some insights into the different business(es) or methods of making money online that they use.

If this doesn't seem like the right place to post this, are there any other forums or places you'd recommend doing so over Warrior Forum?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance & Happy Holidays,
Zack

Hi Zack, Photoshop eh, yeah, l am pretty good as well, done flyers for a while and am doing fonts for the last year.

I tend to occasionally put up something silly, (image) and occasionally someone approaches me for a gig here.

I usually decline as l am not really into freelance stuff, but it does happen.

Fiverr is s good place to start, as is Graphicriver*, but l am presently at Creative Market, tough to get into, but with their huge list, and chance of a substantial income, worth it!

Thanks for the reply tagiscom. I've used fiverr/odesk and a few other similar platforms in the past for freelance work. I hadn't heard of creative market though so thanks for that one. I'm not really looking to freelance/make money from the graphic side of things right now as much as I am to help others with skills they may not have and to learn other skills in the process.

Not sure if you were just being sarcastic here (sorry if so it's hard to tell through text) or just are not from America/familiar with AA (An Associate of Arts (AA) is a two-year undergraduate degree, usually offered at community, junior and technical colleges-although some four-year colleges also offer AA degrees) degree. What's epirb?

Not sure if you were just being sarcastic here (sorry if so it's hard to tell through text) or just are not from here is what an EPIRB is.

An Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon or EPIRB is used to alert search and rescue services in the event of an emergency. It does this by transmitting a coded message on the 406 MHz distress frequency via satellite and earth stations to the nearest rescue co-ordination centre.

Some EPIRBs also have built-in GPS which enables the rescue services to accurately locate you to +/- 50 metres.

        Who uses EPIRBs?
EPIRBs are generally installed on boats and can either be operated automatically after an incident or manually. In most countries they are mandated to be used in all commercial shipping. However, they are also used on yachts and leisure
