Was just researching some history of my Internet career and found I joined the Warrior Forum back in 2000. I was the 2770 member to join. This is what it looked like then and we paid $50 to join. https://web.archive.org/web/20010502...riors.cgi?2770

      I was going to post something totally flip about SQL Joins, but then I actually took a look at the OP's link. Allan Says had posted sincere testimonials for WF from people like Willie Crawford, Wes Blaylock, and Terry Dean. Maybe we should go back to a $50 entry fee.

            The funny thing is that, with this new feed view, just like with signatures, things like posts/thanks/joined no longer even appear, so how much are people really going to pay for aged accounts here?

            (That was a rhetorical question; I'm not sure that I really want to know.)

    I joined around 2007-ish with a random username. Had a few thousand posts on that account. Then I was offline for a couple of years (due to health issues) when I came back online, one of the first things I did was move my website from a free hosted site to a dedicated server and gave it a new url (the old one was nameofhost.randomshit.com/stringofnumbers/nameofmysite ... not a google friendly url at all!) My new url was my name which is only 6 letters long, so when I returned here, I was going to change my account username to match my url, but then I couldn't remember what my account username was, and hotmail had ceased to exist by that point, so I couldn't retrieve it through my email and I ended up creating a new account (this one) instead, which I think I created in 2013??? It says in the join date next to the post, but doesn't show here on the reply box, so not sure exact date.


    Oddly, though I used to post near daily on my old account, i don't post that often with my new account, mostly because the site has been overrun with spam the past few years so there are less threads worth posting on. I am however here lurking and reading almost every day, even though I rarely post any more.


    ETA: Yep, now that it's posted, I can see the date. It was 2013.
