Mobility data and marketing (big data)

Hello, I'm a student and I'm currently making research about the interest of mobility data for media and publicity agencies. In short, mobility data allow you to identify group of people flow, journey of these people, where they are going and how long they stay at some places. The group of people can be predefined based on some profile preferences and are anonymised (meaning you can not track one person only or find his identity). Do some of you know about the topic or know if some agencies could be interested by this kind of data or are already using them?
