Which do you prefer for your holiday. A beautiful trek in the mountains or a beach side holiday. Give your views.

Probably pick the mountain trek if I feel adventurous during the holidays, though it'll mostly be to take photos.

I'd have to say beachside, simply because my wife and kid would love it so much more than the mountains.

If I were to go alone though, then definitely the mountains. There is something great about being stood on top of a mountain. Gives you a view of how big the world really is.

I live in South East Asia so mountains and beaches are easily accessible from almost everywhere. If you choose not to choose then anything is an option

Hi Sanjeev,

Both rock, but I am choosing the mountains methinks.

Only because I have spent so much time by beaches in the tropics over the years.

It'd be nice to get some contrast.

I prefer Beach. Last year I visited the largest Sea Beach in the whole world. it's name is Cox's Bazar Sea Beach. It is around 120 KM.

I like both but for different reasons.

I like the mountains when summer is at it peak as they are just the right temp, green, flowers, wildlife etc.

Then, I like the Florida and tropical beaches during the winter as they are just the right temp and early morning are crisp and cool.

I am assuming that Accountants are bored, but doctors trying to climb it,and dying, way too many.

Maybe all of that great information they give Cancer patients, and prescribing the new wonder drug, with a 5k a month price tag, has got to them.

I like the tides, the sound of the waves...on the beach. I like the feeling I get on a modest sized fishing boat when all the land disappears in the distance and all I can see is water. But after living on the coast for years - I was over it. Hurricane Nate just came ashore last night where I used to live...and I'm glad I'm no longer there....

Mountains are lovely to look at - but I don't much like heights.

My favorites are not mentioned - forests/jungles with rocky streams and waterfalls....

I like both the places, they have the potential to make us energetic.
But if you need to get revealed from the stresses and all the disturbances I prefer for the mountains. The big trees, greeneries, calm surroundings and mostly the fresh air. I don't think there would be any location better than the mountains.
