Hello,

I m looking an alternative for camstacia (too expensive) that has the ability to record screen and add annotation.

My budget is only around 45-50 bucks
Im looking for a software with one time payment.

Please advice.

Annotations are added in Youtube, although they discontinued them. ActivePresenter is the best free screen recorder and has the ability to add captions, if that's what you mean.

I use CamStudio. It's FREE and is a solid performer.
I'm going to try ActivePresenter to compare.

WOW! ActivePresenter is quite impressive!
You get a full presenter with a lot of features!

Hi. You may try Acethinker Free Screen Recorder Online. It has what you need. You can annotate or make a real-time edit while recording. Also, you don't have to pay because it is absolutely free yet it can give quality recordings. I am using it for a year now and got no problems with it.
