Your thread could have disappeared because people just couldn't hang with the porn, after all - Warriors vote threads out now and a lot of people just don't agree with porn. How many would actually zap a thread in moral self-righteousness is a question. Yep it could have happened. But I am guessing that is not the reason. My guess it disappeared because it was legal advice.

Ya see, Tony - your advice might have been rock solid, and you might have studied enough that you know as much as some lawyers do about the industry rules. But you are not a lawyer. We've had a LOT of people burned in this place because they listened to legal advice from "knowledgeable" and well meaning (and a few not so well meaning) people who weren't lawyers. So zapping that thread might have been Warriors protecting other Warriors from more than a view of bare boobies.

I think you will find that legal advice won't go far around here unless you are a lawyer and can prove to be one.

Sorry you did so much work - but you might want to stick to IM and leave out the legal advice unless you want to word it in a way that just tells people what kind of things they might want to consult a lawyer about when building adult sites.

Don't take it personal. We've all had threads zapped.

I'm enjoying building sites about things I REALLY care about much more anyway.

No offense intended but porn scum is everywhere and it is not going to be in the Warrior Forum thankfully.

There are millions of porn sites and I am sure forums that would appreciate your work. So it is not like it is anything to them if it can't be here in this one business forum.

I read your post. I commented very briefly to the above affect and got attacked and ridiculed. That was probably what got it deleted.

I responded again and tried to explain that I don't care what people do in private. Not my business.

However, it is offensive to me and I am being forced to see it everyday, for instance porn scum are prolific spammers.

Every day I have to see gross obscenities in my spam folder (even the titles make me want to puke)

I can't watch cable TV which I pay for without seeing really graphic porn in the middle of any movie.

So sorry, but I am just really up in arms against porn.

There must be better ways to make money.

It is nothing personal and I hope you can understand. I saw (before I posted) the number of reports against the thread (in the moderators forum) so I know I am not alone, and if the admin/super mods did not agree, only the attacking posts would have been deleted instead of the whole thread.

It was a very well done report however and I am sorry you wasted your time.

You are right about the spam, but you know 'the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree' and well I won't get off into the whole element there being sub-human as far I am concerned with porn creeps.
