So I'm reading daily news with EXPERTS, BITCOIN, BUBBLE, INVEST in the headline and I'm starting to feel left behind.
Do you think it's necessary to have Bitcoin or generally some sort of crypto as a payment option on your eCommece? Or is it unnecessary investment? Should I wait? I read NO CHARGEBACKS! (link removed b mod)

How does it work for you if you INDEED allowed Bitcoin payments?

Give it time, Bitcoin dropped down from 19k, to 6 recently, and the laws of probability makes it inevitable that one day, (most likely this year) it will have one massive drop, and then another big drop.

After that it will probably be a herd rush to the nearest cashout.

You can put up a bitcoin button, but expect to take it down before the year is up.

Bitcoin being volatile do you really think it will work?

Since it looks liked you spammed the forum, it no longer matters. Do what you want.

With the huge swings it would be dangerous to accept it at this time. Unless you can change it to regular cash ASAP. How would you plan on refunds or charge backs a few weeks later if the price spikes or crashes. December it was close to 20 grand now it is in the 8 grand range and subject to change hourly.

They are all confusing to me, I wish I could understand how people make money out of this. To be honest I don't really trust money that is not in my hand :-)

Most make money from this early on, and the rest, unless they have a crystal ball don't.

Besides being honest, you are displaying at least a modicum of common-sense.

I think it's a good idea, but bitcoin can not fall to the bottom but many companies give it as an option and we also implement it

It's like saying, I'm charging 15 dollars for this, but the next day you have only been paid 3.

I always wished that digital content you own(?) can be traded to crypto currency.

    Hi Faris,

Not in any of our life times

My main observation of Bitcoin and other crypto; SO much of the energy around crypto is not based on sound, detached, patient observation of a stable system gradually growing into acceptance. Nope. Most energy backing crypto is fear, greed, wild excitement, desperation, sadness, grief, anger, resistance and overall energetic chaos, like watching an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians while sitting on a tiny sail boat in the South Pacific during a super typhoon.

When the select few stable, largely detached, relaxed, balanced crypto experts out there become more common, this is when you need to think about adding Bit Coin as a payment option on your site.
