I just joined this community and I would like to know how I create my sigature as something other than my url link. I notice a lot of people simply have an intrigueing sentence which act as a link... how I do I do this please?
With thanks,
Adam

In the signature editor, write the text you want to be a link. Highlight this text in the editor. Then click the icon in the editor toolbar that looks like a globe with a chain on its lower right, and type the URL where you want people to go. Then click OK.

    Hi Adam,

    Just a friendly head's up.

Affiliate links are not allowed in forum signatures.

You may also want to check out the rules, just to avoid any other potential misunderstandings.

"Then click the icon in the editor toolbar that looks like a globe"

I want to turn my sig into anchor text rather than just the url, but I cannot find the globe or editor toolbar you are talking about.

        Where is it?

Jon, go to User CP > Edit signature.
Now, see all of those icons just above your signature text? See the one that looks exactly as CDarklock described? Click on it.

Just found the solution. Go to Edit Options>Miscellaneous Options>Message Editor Interface. Mine was set to basic. Changed now to Standard Editor

If you can't see any icons there, just use HTML code for your signature.

Won't work - think you need to use BB code...[] not <>
