Can I put a link to my blog in my sig? It's not an affiliate link or redirect link!

    @Killer Joe: Earlier I had hyper-linked my current sig text with that link, and some mod changed it to "read sig rules".

      Well then, you may need to read the sig file rules to determine why that is happening.

      Without knowing what your blog is about I have no idea. But if your blog is just a bunch of affiliate links you may be borderline.

      Don't know. Perhaps you can send Tom a message at the help desk and he can tell you the reason.

      Ouch! I can see why they bounce your sig.

      Your site looks like a spammer's delight. I don't say that to insult you, just as a point of referrence. It looks like it's 100% ads.

      I know it's not, but that is what the first impression delivers. Perhaps if you added some content above the fold to make it look a little less 'commercial' you'd have better luck getting it into your sig.

      As it stand now...you're gonna be SOL I'm afraid.

    I have removed Sidebar ads! Does it look like "commercial" now?

      That looks a little better.

      I would still run this by the help desk and ask for their approval since your site has been bounced already. You don't want to get banned for putting it back in.

      Explain to them what your site is about and that those blocks are content and not ads. They look like ads unless you click on them and go to the content.

      I think several people posting should read the rules.

      ...and mods don't appear to critique your blog on command.

      The rules are clear - if you own the domain and site and it's not just one big promotion for some spammy affiliate product....you shouldn't have a problem.
